Set your Scotts, or whatever you are using, to the setting recommended on the bag. Measure the width of the opening. If the length of the opening is anywhere close to the opening on your walk behind, set your agri fab to the same width. That should give you very close to the setting you need for your agri fab |

Also, it tells you not to apply fertilizer within 2 weeks of applying the granular lime. I would even wait 4 weeks before applying any fertilizer. In addition, I would water in the granular lime after applying it to avoid the possibility of burning the grass in hot weather. Finally, I’ve never used (it wasn’t available) granular lime, only powdered lime and that drop spreader setting is either 6 or less. Hope this helps. |

| Answer: | I recently purchased the Brinley P20 500BHDF Push Spreader with side deflector kit, 50 lb. capacity. It replaced a decade old corroded Scotts spreader. This is a large very well built sturdy spreader. I bought it to last me a long time. The spreader comes with a nice clear cover for use in rain.... important as I live in W. Washington state. My lawn is only about 2,000 sq.ft., a bit of overkill. Very easy to operate. Just remember.. there is no "spring" tensioner to close the holes when you stop moving; material continues to fall. I have used it a few times. Very rugged and very well built. |
