Question:	what varieties are included in the mix
Answer:	Two were the same, both little dead looking plants. I didn’t receive the green one with the wider leaves, and one has the top broken off.
Question:	Really have to dip in water once a week, what if they're inside a terrarium or attached to a wall? Inconvenient
Answer:	Air plants would be loose in a terrarium, and are removed very easily. You can also spray your plants - but you would have to do this multiple times a week.
Question:	What type of water should I water them with
Answer:	I use room temperature regular tap water. I soak them 30 to 40 minutes once a week. place them in a window with bright light-no sun. Since I purchased this group of plants, they're already growing and getting new shoots.
Question:	Could these be ordered in winter? Temps will be in the 20s-30s for the next couple of months
Answer:	I just received mine (upstate NY in the middle of below freezing temps/ blizzards). Sent to my work so they wouldn't sit outside and all came happy and healthy! Very pleased and arrived before expected date.

Question:	Would you be so kind and ship this lovely little plants to Iceland
Answer:	You need to ask the seller if they would do it. I know that if they know they have to ship them in cold temperatures they might require you to purchase warmers for the air plants and might say no if the shipping will result in dead air plants if shipping will take too long. They are very aware and know how to package their plants and they will give you the correct answer.
Question:	Seller says s/he picks air plants about to bloom or with pups, but don't those die earlier than ones that haven't yet bloomed
Answer:	Yes, the mother eventually die but she ensures her babies are grown and able to survive first. Mom’s don’t die right away. It does take time! This applies to all air plants.
Question:	I am wondering if these plants have a red color, or are they green
Answer:	Hello - Good Question! When I pick out these plants from our nursery (and yes I am the one picking them), I only pick ones out that have color to them or are about to flower - or ones with pups already forming at the base. We don't artificially color our plants with floral spray like some sellers do - these are 100% kissed by the sun only - each one colored different than the next. These plants are grown under the Caribbean sun and really enjoy it here. I'm sure you can imagine that going into a dark box, and shipped on a great voyage make them a bit upset. It does not always happen, but it is possible for them to loose a bit of color in transit. Give them a good soak according to the instructions. You might even notice the color more then. Place them in a bright location, and any color lost should return. I have my contact info in every box should any problems arise. - Frank
Question:	My plants no longer have an red on them and have a light coating of what looks like mold. Followed all instructions re: watering and drying. Help
Answer:	We do not artifically color our plants like some sellers do with floral spray. Ours is 100% the work of the Caribbean sun. If they have reverted back to green, then they need more direct light. The "mold" you see is not mold more than likely. The white on the plants are trichomes - and it's how the plant feeds itself in absence of roots that take up nutrients. Air plants use their roots to attach to items - nothing else. Care can vary from plant to plant. In general, place the plants in a bright spot, but nor directly in sunlight. Water when the top inch of the soil is dry (about once a week) and be sure all excess water drains away. If the container does not have holes, use approximately half a cup of water, adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the plant sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at shipping ranges from 9-15 inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant

Give them a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for house plants. Answer:	Hi! You may use a good quality soil mixed for houseplants, potted plants, or foliage when repotting. We hope this helps!

Answer:	Hi Mili! These plants are currently in pots that measure 4 inches in diameter and approximately 4 inches tall. We do not recommend placing them in direct sunlight. They will do best in a spot that has bright, but indirect, sunlight. We hope this helps!
Question:	What size nice planter should I buy for these
Answer:	These plants are all nicely filled out and large for the pots they're shipped in. The peace lily, the largest was 12' tall when it arrived. I replanted each into 6" pots so they would have room to grow. I bought Miracle Grow potting soil. Mine are all thriving.

Question:	Will these be OK if I order them in cold weather
Answer:	Yes. We guarantee our plants even if they die from the cold. To limit exposure we recommend shipping to where you are when mail is delivered (work, school, etc.) so that they are not left outdoors for a long time.
Question:	how big will they grow
Answer:	Individual plants grow up to 3 or 4 inches tall. They also grow "pups" from their base and multiply. You can let them multiply and grow into a large cluster/ball or separate the plants as they get larger.
Question:	how much sunlight do they need
Answer:	I could have just checked "I don't know". But a better answer is it depends: depends on the type Tillandsia you have. I am not an expert and can hardley tell one type from another. What I have read is there are maybe a thousand different kinds. Most I think are native to rain forests.. But some thrive in desert conditions. Google Tillandsia - that is what I did. Good luck. I have had one plant for over six years. It produced many buds and grew 10 fold. But it never bloomed. It never got direct sunlight. Maybe it needed some. 

Answer:	It is a variety. Three of the plants were ready to bloom! Exciting! Some of the types I received were Stricta, Juncea and Ionantha. The plants are healthy and large. It is a great way to start your collection. I used my plants to make a wreath and glass ornaments.

Answer:	I would not wait more than 7 to 10 days and include the shipping time in that 7 to 10 day period -- meaning if you order them on the 14th and receive them on the 18th, include those 4 days in the 7 to 10 day countdown.

Answer:	Don’t keep in direct sun on window and only spray once a week. I keep mine around the house in different spots getting normal light. I spray them once a week. After spraying on leave on a towel till the next day by a window to make sure they use up the water on them. Doing this I’ve had nothing but success with mine. I have 16 spread out around the house ;)
Question:	Are they real? Will they come dead
Answer:	They are real and mine came in great shape! They are bigger and healthy. They are still in great shape now and I bought them in December & again in January. I made the mistake and ordered a set from a different place for a mix of different plants. They came half dead in awful shape! The rest died in two weeks time! When these dead ones came I had to order to replace them. I went back to these ones because I knew they would be really good and healthy! So I would definitely recommend these ones! In the future I will order these again if I want more!

Answer:	I searched it and found air plants can stand a short freeze. But if the product you get was anything like mine, most of them will already be dead. I live in Southern California and it was still warm when I got these. Good luck!

Answer:	I use a safe glue called Tilly Tacker..there are others out there but I have had good luck with that brand. I have been collecting (and enjoying) some of these air plants for over 30 years. (I have one that is 22 years old). Don't drown them...I draw tap water the day before (to remove the chlorine) then soak them all day the next....some need weekly and some monthly...check with the seller ....Enjoy...I certainly do.

Answer:	Yes, you can sit them directly on any surface. If you go on Pinterest there are many examples of mounting them on the wall or using shells, or stands to display them. I'm using some whimsical face planters, and a small metal tree for mine. My friend uses a pretty little clear glass cake plate. As long as they get good circulated air, some sun, and an occasional bath or misting they do great. Good luck!!

I have found these tobe a bitmessy as water will leak out the sides, but if in a nice catcher bowl or whatever, the water is collected. Other than they, they are the lightest pots and very reusable, glad I bought them.
