Question:	Do the rotating bins lock in place
Answer:	Yes it dried out fast. I had to water all sides of each tier every day when it was hot. If i get ambitious I will get some pvc pipe, drill holes to match the tiers and cap the bottom of the pipe. And, I did use moisture control potting soil. I'm sure the units with a larger diameter will not dry out as fast.

Answer:	It is a hard plastic.Durable.I used it for my lettuce/spinach crop and it worked beautifully and added much greenery to our deck.

Answer:	Yes, but the top tray is really soaked and the bottom is barely damp. I always have to hand water all the trays. Also the bottom tray does not get enough light. I have 2 units, the one with strawberries did ok, the other with lettuce did not do well at all, until I unstacked the trays.

Answer:	It takes 2.5 bags of commercial mix for me. They are 2.8 cu ft bags. so if my math is correct about 7.0 cubic ft. of soil is required
Question:	Can 2-3 herbs (3.5-4" pot size) fit in each pot
Answer:	The center will connect but you can take it apart piece by piece. As for the worms I don’t see why you can’t put them in here. They might stay in one section of the Greenstalk though so I would just add Worms to each section.

Answer:	We use high quality, BPA free, food grade plastic in our planters. We feel very comfortable growing our food in our planters!
Question:	does anyone know the container dimensions
Answer:	I bought a 40lb bag of expanded clay pellets(leca) and divided it up among the containers to increase drainage and help stabilize the unit. Then I would mix potting soil and coarse sand together for the rest of the fill for the pots. I believe your issue came from using just potting soil. By using lava rocks or expanded clay pellets in the bottom you will improve drainage, stabilize the whole structure and help your plants survive the hottest part of the summer. I hope this helps.
