2 best raised gardens
Raised gardens, also known as raised beds, are gardening structures designed to elevate the growing area above the ground level. These beds are commonly used in gardening and landscaping for various purposes, including vegetable gardening, flower cultivation, and ornamental plant displays. Here are some key aspects related to raised gardens:
Construction Materials: Raised gardens can be constructed from a variety of materials, such as wood, metal, plastic, or composite materials. Each material has its own advantages and considerations in terms of durability, appearance, and cost.
Benefits:
- Improved Drainage: Raised beds often have better drainage compared to traditional in-ground gardens, which can help prevent waterlogging.
- Soil Control: Gardeners can fill raised beds with specific soil mixtures tailored to the needs of the plants they want to grow.
- Weed Control: Raised beds can help minimize weed growth because they are elevated and can be filled with weed-free soil.
- Better Accessibility: Raised beds are easier to access, making planting, weeding, and harvesting more convenient, especially for individuals with mobility issues.
Design and Size: Raised beds come in various shapes and sizes, from small containers suitable for a few herbs to larger, rectangular beds for growing vegetables or flowers. The design and dimensions can be customized to fit the available space and aesthetic preferences.
Height: The height of raised garden beds can vary widely. Some are only a few inches off the ground, while others can be waist-high or even higher. The choice of height depends on the gardener's comfort and specific requirements.
Plant Selection: Raised beds are versatile and can be used to grow a wide range of plants, including vegetables, herbs, flowers, and even small trees or shrubs.
Maintenance: Like any garden, raised beds require regular maintenance, including watering, fertilizing, and pest control. However, because they are typically elevated and well-defined, maintenance tasks can be more manageable.
Aesthetics: Raised beds can enhance the visual appeal of a garden or outdoor space. They can be designed to complement the overall landscaping or to create a focal point.
Longevity: The choice of construction materials can influence the longevity of raised beds. Some materials, like cedar or composite lumber, are known for their durability and resistance to decay.
Raised gardens are a popular choice for both novice and experienced gardeners because of their many advantages. They provide greater control over the growing environment, efficient use of space, and the potential for improved crop yields and plant health.

User questions & answers
Question: | What are the exact interior dimensions of the planting box? (I see 8.6 deep, and I'm guessing 46.5 x 22.5 outer box less 0.75 panel on each side |
Answer: | 3 unidades |
Question: | Is the black liner included with this |
Answer: | Yes, I was having issues with other shampoos (very expensive shampoos) irritating my scalp. I now use this every day and have no premature fade-out with my color. |
Question: | How many plants or rows could you put in it |
Answer: | It is good for baby acne, but I don't know if it is a cure. |
Question: | Should it be oiled or weather treated |
Answer: | The ingredients lists are very similar, but have some slight differences. I will copy and paste both of them below. Also, I have not looked into it too much, but it appears that the two brands are now owned by the same company, although perhaps at one time they were separate. Aquaphor baby wash: Water, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Myreth Sulfate, PEG-200 Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Panthenol, Bisabolol, Polyquaternium-10, Sea Salt, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Benzoate Eucerin baby wash: Water, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Myreth Sulfate, PEG-200, Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate, Cocamidopropyl, Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Panthenol, Butyrospermum, Parkii (Shea) Butter, Polyquaternium-10, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate The Aquaphor has bisabolol and sea salt but the Eucerin doesn't, the Eucerin has parkii (shea) butter but the Aquaphor doesn't. By the way, the Aquaphor baby wash description on the front of the bottle says that it has chamomile essence in it, but where is the chamomile in that ingredients list? I don't know a lot about skincare product ingredients, so maybe it's on that list somewhere, hidden behind a generic-sounding chemical name. The reason I wonder about the "chamomile essence" is that I sometimes have a skin rash to chamomile, so I try to avoid it in products if I can, or I patch test carefully before using a skincare product all over my body. I don't see any mention of "chamomile" on the Eucerin bottle, so it must be in the bisabolol, since it's definitely not in the sea salt (ha ha). I'll look that name up... and yes, wikipedia says that 'Bisabolol... is a colorless viscous oil that is the primary constituent of the essential oil from German chamomile.' I am glad to know that, and I'll put bisabolol on my personal list of ingredients I need to avoid. So it sounds like the choice between the two comes down to having chamomile oil be one of the main moisturizers in the product (the Aquaphor version), or shea butter (the Eucerin version). |

User questions & answers
Question: | does it come with a liner |
Answer: | Mine hasn’t yet. |
Question: | How much soil is needed to fill |
Answer: | You can place the shelves at different heights (at least I'm pretty sure you can) but there is about a foot of space between each shelf when it's done like the picture. It's pretty generous. For instance, I can stack a 12 pack of toilet paper on one shelf. |
Question: | What is the size of the planting box |
Answer: | I believe you should be able to. I'm not 100% about that, but when you put the shelves together you have 2 positions in placing the shelves together. |
