Answer:	I bought 2 of these for side tables in our bed and breakfast. While I'm not personally using them to support any real weight beyond lamps and such, I would have no problem with putting 15-20 pounds on it. Since a gallon is normally 128 ounces (8 lbs), I think 4 gallons might be a little more than I would feel comfortable with. Lastly, I would actually be more concerned with the height of the 4 gallon container because the tables have a rather small footprint (12" x 12"). If it were me, I would find a table that was slightly larger at the base (such as 18" or 24"). However, these are very nice tables. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I have two sets of these stands and they are wonderful. The tops are natural colors (as pictured) and I had no breakage in either shipment.

Answer:	The largest is 10.75" square and 27 inches high. The middle is about 9" square and 23 inches tall; the smaller is proportionally smaller, but I couldn't access it to measure it. They are unusually sturdy and robust, more so than similar products, but the larger one was slightly bent in transit as they were not packed with enough cushioning. The arrived one nested within the other. I have been very happy with this purchase, otherwise. As well, I think they were a great value at the time of purchase, but I think I got them on sale two years ago.
