Answer:	I'd say this is not a saucer meant to be picked up containing a plant of any size or weight. But it will definitely hold a heavy pot that fits the saucer without collapsing. I purchased them to contain whatever water might overflow my pots so as to not ruin floors. For this purpose they work fine.

Question:	Will these plastic saucers support heavy duty pots
Answer:	Most 5 gallon buckets such as the home depot orange paint bucket, the lowes blue one, and the true value food safe ones are between 10.125 inches and 10.4 inches at the base. So yeah these will fit almost all 5 gallon buckets but im willing to bet there are 1 or 2 brands it wouldnt fit (i did look it up btw cause i had the same question, my peppers and tomatoes are in the true value foodsafe ones)

Answer:	I would say read the reviews to see what they say about the actual bottom diameter, but I would also say I don't think a 14 incher would give you your desired 13" diameter bottom - probably a 15 or 16 incher would be better. If you don't have the exact diameter you need, you can put some small wooden blocks beneath the pot to raise it to the height needed. I did that for my 12 1/2 incher, and it worked perfectly.
