Question:	Can we write on them with a pencil
Answer:	Yes! Use a pencil to write on these tags. The graphite will *not* dull or disappear in the sun. Markers of any kind will fade. Use a regular pencil.
Question:	How are these re-usable? the set i have came with a pen, however, i can't get the ink off the tags to reuse them. the writing doesn't wash off
Answer:	I have used these for years, to make sure legible writing/printing stays on, use. Number 2 pencil, it will only ever come off when using an eraser of good quality. A tip a Gardner gave me years ago. Am surprised they don't advertise this tip!

Answer:	I used my brother label maker to print labels for these and if you choose the permanent labels they will stay on all season or longer. When I write on the markers they faded no matter what I used. If you print labels on a computer I would choose a coated label if you want them to last any length of time in the garden. If you just need them to last through the sale then any printed paper label should work fine.
Question:	How tall is the entire thing
Answer:	it is about 4" tall. I have had mine now for over the fall and into winter. I raked some up so am not totally happy with them but they are better than nothing. The felt tip pen that comes with it is blue and fads out in 2 weeks time or less so you need to get a sharpie they make now that is fad proof. I have not tried the new sharpie yet thought I would wait for that this summer and redo my labels.

Answer:	The zinc metal top's writing area is 2 3/4" X 1" and the stakes are about 4" long.
