Answer:	Yes and no. The adhesive isn't meant to stick to porous textures like fabric. In my experience, the adhesive won't stick for long. (Maybe it would on a very dense, smooth, lightweight synthetic fabric that generates absolutely NO lint - but even then, I'm doubtful.) That said, I've had EXCELLENT luck using Command picture hanging strips on the wall and strips of Velcro (important - MUST be the fuzzy side) that I've sewn onto my tapestry. If anything, it sticks TOO well: when I want to remove the tapestry, I have to hold down each Command strip's tab to keep the strip from ripping off the wall (which can cause paint damage if not "stretched" off the proper way).
