Answer:	Hi, I am so I can't give you percentages of mix. The seeds are covered with a blue coating of fertilizer, which stays on for about 5 days even watering 3 times a day. This also keeps the birds from eating 20% of it. This is the 5th bag I have ordered as I have 1/3 acre of all weeds and dirt when I recently bought my house. It is an excellent blend and covers very well and spreads out and fills in. I have large areas that get 90% shade and it grows almost as fast as the seeds in full sun. Very happy with this seed. Answer:	No. The grass is similar to a winter rye grass that that does OK in the cooler winter months, but died in Texas as soon as it got hotter and dry. I would not recommend this grass for any southern hot and dry climate.

If you read carefully, the 10 lb package actually has less than one lb of seeds. Small percentage is fertilizer. 99% are mulch which you can purchase it much less price. It also depends how many sq. ft to plan to cover. This 10 lbs package covers less than 200 sq.ft. It also stated gauantee to germinate in any temperature, even exreme heat, it did not happened that way.

Answer:	No. Go with fescue seeds for shade. Besides, Bermuda seeds have very low germination rate.
Question:	Can I use it up north
Answer:	Bermuda grass needs full sun and wont really take off growing rhizomes until temps reach 80+ for a week or more. Also, night time temps should stay fairly warm. If you live in an area where this is not the case purchase fescue. I live in central NC and it grows well but just an hour or so west from here it is too cool to be a good performer.
Question:	How many square feet will this cover
Answer:	A five LB bag will cover 5,000 square feet -- so they say. But, it depends on how you spread it. DO NOT attempt to spread it if your SOIL TEMPERATURE is less than 70 degrees. Get a soil temp gauge. And even then, you still have to water it with a light spray every hour. I tried it at 64 degrees, and it just didn't do ANYTHING until it got up to 70 degrees. Good luck with that.

If you have any dry hard dirt areas use a metal rake first to scratch the surface so there's some loose soil. Than its all about water!!!!! The seed needs to stay moist but not soaked. And it needs to stay moist until it germinates or it will go dormant. Watch out for birds. They eat seed. If you see them all over your lawn, either turn your sprinklers on(i control mine from my cell) or let the dogs out If you dont have dogs buy some! Or all your seed will be eaten

Answer:	I am not being sarcastic in my response. I know nothing about growing crops, plants, fruit except to "stick in the ground and water it and let it get sunlight." I had a friend who I thought gave me sage advice: the plants don't read the books. So, as far as planting, I just grab some seed, chop the ground a bit, throw the seed in and VOILA! up come grass, thick, beautiful grass. Wish I could show pics. Answer:	The question you should have really asked yourself is why is nothing growing in this area? If even weeds will not grow, then you may have pH problems or other issues that would make growing a desirable turf more difficult. This would be a good option if you need quick coverage assuming the soil is in good enough condition to grow grass, but as other said, this is an annual seed. If you plant it in the fall, it will over-winter and persist through the following season. If you plant it in the spring, it will die off at the end of the year if I understand correctly. If you want seed that persists season to season, get a perennial type seed. I strongly suggest researching grass types and seeing what will grow there based off of the amount of sun and shade you get. Also, if possible, I suggest looking at turf types that spread via stolons and/or rhizomes so they will self-heal without the need to reseed dead patches. This way when you have a weed in the lawn and kill it, the desirable lawn will spread into the area where the weed was and take that space over. The #1 defense against weeds is a thick and healthy lawn, and self-healing types of turf are great at this and help to reduce future weeds.

Answer:	This is a mix of Tall fescue and KBG (about 30-40% of the seed is a form of KBG called hybrid KBG i.e kBG crossed with Texas blue grass. The kbg blades on here are a medium width blade (essentially looks like normal kbg) . The tall fescue varieties in here are also medium bladed - will blend really well with the kbg. The caveat is though, like any tall fescue, if the turf stand is thin, the tall fescue blades will widen significantly to fill the space. Once the space thickens, the tall fescue blades width will come back down to normal. The trick is to to keep your stand thick via good cultural practices and this will be a good looking turf. What's nice about the kbg in here (the cultivar is called Thermal blue) , is that its aggressive and will rapidly fill in any voids to keep the stand thick. Thermal Blue is known for having very good heat and drought tolerance, it will be able to hold up to the same conditions as tall fescue. It's only draw back is that it's not quite as dark as some of the more elite kbgs and has a bit of a dull look. The tall fescue counters it very nicely and as a mix, it's a very attractive and hardy stand overall.

For my yard -The blades did not grow in thick and hardy the first year.
