Answer:	I set Bell Peppers (Green, Orange, Red, Purple), Banana Peppers, Egg Plant, Tomatoes (Brandywine and Yellow Cherry), Broccoli. They all turned out great, as did herbs Peppermint, oregano, and Basil. The yeild was one of the best we've ever had.Flowers: Marigold (Inca and French), Snapdragon, Pansy, Petunia set great. Now the bad news. Impatients, cucumbria (cucumber, watermelon, pumpkin, et al), Chives grew under the light, with brilliant artifically-like bright green leaves. When set out to thin, however, they blighted and died in true sunlight.So I would recommend staying with woody syem plants and avoiding soft stem, since they struggle with setting to real sun. Also, these lights need a goldilocks Location. Further than 6in from the plants (in any direction) the seedlings will stretch. Too close, within 3ins, and they will burn. So you have to adjust often and plant aggressive and petite growers separately. For a classic 72-cell greenhouse kit, you will need 3 lights, center, and left and right so no plants stretch.
Question:	How far away from my house plants should I place the lamp to keep it from burning the leaves
Answer:	Probably depends on how high they get. I was growing ferns and had the lights about 3 feet away they grew maybe a foot more so far and no burning.

Answer:	regular bulbs are not full spectrum unless its stated on the package. these are good though i ordered one a few months ago and with about 6-8 hours of use every day its still going.

Answer:	I'm afraid I can't answer either question, since I don't know exactly what spectrum is needed to treat SAD. Nor do I know the lumens of the bulb. I do know, though, that I find it startling to look over in that direction (where the plants are) at night, because it seems as if the sun was out. Sometimes if I'm working beside that bulb I lose track of time and have no idea that the evening is so advanced because the light, well, it seems like daylight. Good luck!

Answer:	If you had to choose between these and LED's in your ceiling fan, I would highly recommend these over LED any day. Reason: my sweetheart and I were recently out shopping for bulbs (ironically for the ceiling fan) and saw this "great" deal on LED's. "Oh yes, the wattage is low and they're such a bright light. We can save on electricity AND have a good light".... or so we thought. The first part is true, but as far as a "bright light", nothing could be further from the truth! The bulb itself was extremely bright and "white", but the light it emitted was a weird "dull". Every time I went in the upstairs hallway (which is another place we put them) I felt like I was entering some space ship, or operating room. The fluorescent lights are different. They are bright and "white" and the light it emits is also BRIGHT. They actually look as though you have a huge window lighting up the entire room. There is ONE downfall to this though. The bulbs are not exactly the prettiest. They do look very odd in open light fixtures; without a globe or some other sort of covering. I don't know if ALL LED bulbs do this, but I do know the ones we used DID and that was enough to deter me away from LED's.
Question:	Is this one a bright white light or does it have some yellow in it
Answer:	These bulbs are very bright white-almost blue. I personally hate them, they aren't very nice to look at and I would never put them inside my home. They are currently in my garage, and I don't even like that type of light in there. Too commercial/industrial. Also, they take some time to warm up to full brightness. Not exactly the best for my Central New York climate.

As stated by another answer, the LED emits white light (which has lots of blue light), and the red plastic doesn't do much to eliminate the blue light. With this light, blue objects in your room will still look blue. If the bulb only emitted red light, blue objects in the room would look black. Disappointing I know, but it's cheaper for them to use their regular LEDs and just changing the color of the cover.

Answer:	Regular lightbulb base for standard lamps. I know there are multiple "standards", but if it makes it clearer, these work in all my table lamps in the house plus all the overhead lights that don't need chandelier type bulbs or floodlights. So, basic lightbulb. Note: I also have the floodlight versions of these as well (same brand, light type, etc.). I really love them all and have been replacing every bulb in my house with the philips led daylight bulbs as the incandescents and cfls (I hate cfls) burn out.

Answer:	Daylight bulbs are good for elderly folks as they can see better. Other than that, daylight must be used selectively, as it can be unflattering. Lighting is an art, and requires great amount of understanding of your requirements most people don’t know this until the wrong bulb is bought. A CRI OF 80+ is desired, and 90-95+ in certain situations, and your best bet is 2700K Soft White, 3000K Bright White for halogen matching applications, and Warm Glow for dimming applications. Soft White /Warm Glow is closest to standard incandescent

Question:	How often do you need to change the bulbs and how much are the replacement bulbs
Answer:	They pull off and you push on the replacement bulb. There is a picture in the description that shows the bulb removed. The link below is for the replacement bulbs. Question:	What is the actual power draw of this light? the description says 66 and 75 watts, but those must be weird 'equivalent' figures, not actual draw
Answer:	A very good review said: "The wall-wart power supply is rated at a max 12 Watts, and because it is likely conservatively chosen, the actual Watt rating must be a lot less than 12. Thus, it will use very little electricity and be cheap to operate." That's full power and all 3 lights, it is can use a lot less power. LED's are known for their lower power usage, so these figures seem correct. My best guess is that the lights actually use 8W at full capacity.
Question:	Seller, what is the lux and par on these lights
Answer:	Measured with “Plant Light” app with an iPad I’m measuring 20,000 to to 35,000 lux at around 6 inches all three lights on full brightness.

Answer:	Yes it will. I am using it for seedlers and it is working just fine, tomatoes might need more lamps because they grow big and they will need more light.

Answer:	yes. I run the light for 18 hours.
Question:	Does this light get hot
Answer:	Wait, if it's 45w then how is power consumption 15w? This is dishonest. If it's a plant light (grow light) then you NEVER give the incandescent value and advertise it as 45 watt when it's actually 15. This is misleading.
