Answer:	Because of how I use my lights, my lights have inadvertently become wet during watering of my plants on many occasions. The lights still work. I do not try to get water on them, but they have had water on them (multiple times) and still function. The water has been at the light portion not near the plug area or controller/timer.

Answer:	When the seeds are first germinating, they don't require light, just moist warmth kept in by a clear plastic humidity dome. (Starting out, I often cover the humidity dome with a black plastic trash bag and place everything on top of my refrigerator for warmth.) I peek inside the black plastic bag maybe twice a week. When I see the plants start emerging from their growing medium (soil or rock wool), I take everything out of the black plastic bag and put the trays with humidity domes under the LED growing light. I keep the lights about 4"-6" above the clear plastic humidity domes. That's for the germinating and sprouting stages.

Answer:	I do not know why you couldn't mount them on a wall since they do not give off much heat. Mine are mounted like number 2 in the example and really works well. I think you could hook two sets together in other configurations, but that is just my opinion, can't see why it wouldn't work. I would also recommend using a timer box for convenient off /on and consistent timing.
