Thus, it will use very little electricity and be cheap to operate." That's full power and all 3 lights, it is can use a lot less power. LED's are known for their lower power usage, so these figures seem correct. My best guess is that the lights actually use 8W at full capacity.

Answer:	Since my gro light hangs about a foot above the plants I don’t see whee water would come in contact with the lite. As for humidity, the amount in my plants and saucers doesn’t pose a problem. I found that from a distance of 12" the light from 1 light fixture for each 10" x 20" seedling tray was inadequate resulting in significant "plant streching" that led to each seedling toppling over. I plan on using 2 fixtures for each 10" x 20" tray next season basically providing a 1 to 1 coverage at 12 inches.

Answer:	Yes, I chose to unplug the timer that came with the lights and plugged them into my own timer that turns them on for certain hours each day. The timer that came with the lights will turn them off after whatever amount of time you want 3, 6, or 12 hours) but as far as I could tell you have to turn the lights on manually.

We found that two lights per four square feet of growing area put out enough lumens, in excess of 2,000 to make sure there was reliable light for growth. If you are ever going to do more or want a precise scientific way to know that buying a light meter (around $20.00) will let you know the lumens in each section of your growth area at the top of the growth area - thats helps adjust your lights for spacing or lets you know that if your plants are in pots which ones to rotate to a level with higher lumens periodically. Be sure if you buy a meter you get one thar reads lumens - the concentration of light as it hits a space. Question:	What is the Kelvin number? I need grow lights that are good for microgreens
Answer:	Short answer: These lights will work well for your microgreens. For microgreens and most plants, the Kelvin number is less important than the PAR output. (PAR = Photosynthectically Active Radiation) I bought some of these lights to test them and I have tested the entire Barrina line of LED lights for PAR output including the shop lights. All them will work for you. I did not test for Kelvin output. The specific frequency output on which the Kelvin rating is based, is provided as a graph by the manufacturer on the product page. But if I had to guess I'd say the output was 5,000 Kelvin or lower; so it's a relatively warm colored light which might be good for your purposes. Some researchers have gotten very high microgreen yields using lights with a higher red to blue ratio. My family grows microgreens and other crops commercially and we use Barrina LED lights almost exclusively. These lights will work well for greening your microgreens, but we actually don't even bother with lights specifically marketed as grow lights for our microgreens because we found that nearly any lights are adequate for that purpose and others are less expensive. We use the cheapest Barrina general utility strip lights and they work great. If you remove the diffusers, just don't get any water or dirt on the LEDs.

Answer:	Mine flickered a bit when I first started using it. It turned out that the USB connector that plugs into the included charging block wasn't seated properly (I didn't plug it in snugly). I just unplugged the USB connector, made sure it was clean, plugged it back in, and the flicker is no more. Be advised that the included charging block will get very hot after a few hours if you lay it on a soft surface like carpet or any kind of cloth. Make sure to lay the charging block on a hard surface and that it is not covered up, etc., so that it can dissipate heat.
Question:	Why is it that other sellers are selling this exact same light but they say it’s 40 watts instead of 80 watts like you are stating
Answer:	The picture of the input says 5V and 2A, 5x2=10. This is a 10 watt max led light, per their own specs. They can say "comparable" to 40 watt incandescent, but that depends on who is doing the comparison. It cannot be anything more than 10Watts since that is the amount of input.
