Answer:	I just looked at mine and it appears to go all the way. The rubber handle is very thick and hard, so it is hard to tell. I will say this is the best trowel I have ever owned and I've owned many that bend, rust, break, etc.

Answer:	Carbon steel will rust. This towel may have a coating? But if you care for the trowel and don't leave it wet for long periods it wont rust. Mine hasn't rusted and I keep it outside on a window ledge. .

Answer:	The problem isn't the pump it is the filter! When the filter was in the water couldn't flow through it fast enough so the water backed up and ran all over the floor. When i took the filter out the water flowed much better and the water didn't back up. Si in my opinion it is the filter and the location it is at.

Answer:	Should do it. It's not a real thick blade but its strong so easy to get in hard to reach places.
Question:	I am interested in the long handled version of this spade. Has anyone broken the handle on one of these shovels
Answer:	This is one of the toughest tools we’ve used. I’m not good with metals but I believe it’s galvanized steel. It is the best tool we purchased. We are using it to dig up the front lawn and have encountered many tree roots. Between this tool and the pickaxe, we’ve been successful in digging up the tree roots.
Question:	Is the point of spade sbarp or dull
Answer:	Yes this is a very tough shovel and I have used it to saw through bamboo roots. If you sharpen up the front of the blade it can even slice through some of the smaller shoots. I recommend this shovel for keeping your bamboo under control.
Question:	Can I use this shovel to dig a trench
Answer:	I bought the root assassin first, and it bent almost immediately. Root slayer has been working hard and still in great shape!!
