Answer:	These are the best scissors we have ever owned! I do not know much ab0ut the 10 inch - I have fairly small hands and my spouse does not. The 8 inch fits both of us well.

Answer:	They are slightly asymmetrical (the thumb loop) and no doubt intended for right-handers. However, while maybe slight less comfy, I find that they work just as well left-handed.

Question:	Why would one want to take them apart
Answer:	These are literally kitchen scissors. You can use them for cutting a multitude of foods for prep like scallions, lettuce, bacon, meats. They are better for cutting some things (for example: cutting directly into a pan) more so than a knife on a cutting board. You need to be able to take them apart to clean them completely especially if you’ve used them to cut any raw meat or fish. Much more sanitary than scissors that don’t come apart.
Question:	How do I select the left-handed version
Answer:	I don't think this particular pair of scissors comes in a left-handed version. Not positive, tho'.

Answer:	Very easy. There is a place on the blade where they simply pull apart. A child can do it.

Answer:	There is a Philips screw and a hex nut on the blade portion to change blades and adjust tension. As seen in the picture.
