Answer:	The trimmer is a fixed length. There is sleeve in the middle that will actuate the trimmer and a pull ring on the end that will also actuate the trimmer. I use it for trimming plants in my pond and have found it very handy.

Answer:	They claim up to 1/2 inch, but 3/8 inch is limit for harder woods. 3/8 green wood is no problem. Love this tool. Can trip most of my trees without ladder.

Answer:	You need two hands- the central handle actuates the blades (you slide it toward the bottom), while your second hand would hold the bottom; or you would put both hands at the bottom- one on the handle wrapped around and the other pulling the ring at the bottom.Both ways use tension to operate an internal block and tackle that closes the jaws.It works really well, as long as you don't cut branches over about 2" thick. The internal block and tackle is plastic and can fracture.

Answer:	I dont know anything about the warranty. You might want to ask Amazon customer service. I have done a lot of tree trimming with mine and they have held up great so far.

Does 26 inches refer to the length of the handles

yes. the neck and handle actually rotate so blade positioning is endless. it also has cut and hold - cut it then draw it out of shrub, fantastic for thorns. one of most favorite gardening tools. i also use it to pick up debris, clippings from yard, you can control how tense you are gripping so not to cut through. i underestimated how much i would like the hold, it has saved my arms several times. after pruning 30 plus roses my arms looked shredded. i have both the 2' and 4' - prefer the 2' because i can do it with one hand while the 4' needs one on the handle and the other on the barrel. i've had mine 3 years - i don't leave home without it (when going to gardens).

Answer:	Very honestly the best loppers I've ever used in My 70+ Years. I don't think they would be too big for climber roses as they measure 26 1/2" retracted and 36 1/2" fully extended. Length adjustment is about the easiest ever and they stay locked. They cut roses like butter but can do branches nearly 1 3/4" thick with very moderate effort. They have a non stick like coating that has held up well after 15 months of use. Although they are pricey, I think they will serve Us well for years to come.

I think it would be cool if I could just have 2 or 3 blades on hand, but I guess you can't complain when they do no questions asked replacement.
