Answer:	I think that the weight was listed in the description info. As a male, it is a comfortable weight, but could be a little heavy for a smaller female, especially if working overhead.

Answer:	These are more sturdy. But this Power Gear 2 weighs about twice as much as the original Power Gear. Really disappointing that you can't find the original any more.

Answer:	I was able to find and purchase replacement blades for the original PowerGear. Shipping was high so I ordered 5 to save money but with propper care and light filing I have only used 2 after 1yr of heavy business use.Fiskars blades only have a 1/8in blade overlap (allows more cutting capacity) so they must be just slightly sharpened and they work fine. My dad tried to sharpen his chipped blade and took too much off and ruined it.Just don't cut roots in dirt, too dry limbs, chain link fencing, or twist the blade. I find my employees always try cutting roots without properly cleaning them (roots) and it ALWAYS dulls or chips the blades, even if you think it wouldn't. I have to threaten employees to pay for damage and then they treat them better.

Answer:	I dont know anything about the warranty. You might want to ask Amazon customer service. I have done a lot of tree trimming with mine and they have held up great so far.

They don't require a lot of strength to use in proportion to the size of branch they'll cut. I'm very happy with them.

This is one of the great things about them that if you open the jaws slightly, like the size of a blossom stem, they do not engage the ratchet mechanism. And yet they can cut one inch branches. Answer:	This is a great question! When you open the pruners wide to make a large cut and then squeeze the handles, the pruner makes it about 1/3 of the way through the branch, release and depress again and it goes about 2/3's through and on the final "stage" or "squeeze", the branch is finally cut through. Each of these three squeezes or 'Stages" takes less hand pressure to complete and this is the purpose of the ratchet mechanism, to make pruning easier for each cut. Occasionally it will take four stages or cuts to complete. Bottom line, easier on the hands, and this is the whole purpose of this tool, to make hard cuts easier and reduce pressure and strain on the hands. Answer:	Can be done with a dremmel tool with a small grinding wheel. A small sharp flat file, a hand knife sharpening stone, or other similar tools

Question:	The item quantity says "6". Is this for 6 loppers
Answer:	Yes they definitely will. My pest control company says legally, they cannot set them outside because they can catch birds, squirrels, cat paws, dogs... they are really strong and effective for killing rats but you want to be careful. I don't know if they would kill a squirrel but I'd be careful setting them outside.
Question:	can you get new blades for them an how they cost
Answer:	We have caught dozens of rats with these traps and they are rarely dead. If you don’t mind finishing them off these will work for you. I personally find it horrible and cannot do it.

Question:	How far open must handles be for max cuts? The Fiskars I returned required 180 degree spread of handles, not safe when on ladder
Answer:	Thanks for the great question. I checked with our engineering department and the SL 4264 handles open 135 degrees for the maximum cut. Far less than the one's you returned.
Question:	Can I get replacement blade for this
Answer:	I haven''t tried to get a replacement blade. I simply sharpened the current blade on a grinding wheel. I see they sell a small file to sharpen them by hand if you're interested in that. I have no idea if it works well, however.
