Question:	How much do these things smell? Want to put composter inside a small area behind our shed if the smell won't nauseate the kiddos
Answer:	We have one in our backyard and I almost never smell it. The only time I have noticed a smell has been when the lid is open and I am dumping more kitchen scraps in it and even then it's not that often. All the compost books say if it does smell bad that means you need more greens or browns depending on the smell.

Question:	Since it doesn't have a bottom, will that work on our patio? We live in a condo and only have a large patio area that is concrete
Answer:	I wouldn't use this in your situation. It would definitely stain the patio. I'd find a different design. Also you'll need to make sure you have enough dry material in the composter or it will stink if your compost is mostly kitchen scraps. In your situation I'd probably go for worm composting. My daughter made a vermicompost kit out of a couple of inexpensive storage bins at a camp a number of years ago. One has holes drilled into it and the other is solid so any worms or leakage will go into the outer bin. Question:	How do the top doors open? Easy enough to do one handed? Do they keep out the raccoons
Answer:	I have not had any problems with raccoons or rodents at all. The top locks tightly. And yes, I can open it one handed to throw in a small amount of scraps but otherwise, two hands work better to take the entire top off when adding large amounts, leaves or twigs and grass clippings. Remember to turn it at least once a week - I use a pitchfork to do that task. Good luck!

Answer:	I use a teflon sheet and no you don't have to press too hard. I used to use my iron and this thing is AAAAAmazing!!! Time and heat control... no more guessing or over heating.

Answer:	Your iron may be greatly superior to mine...But the advantages that this heat press has over my iron are these: 1) I'm able set the exact temperature I need. (I didn't realize what a difference this would make!) 2) The heat press is HEAVY. I want a lightweight iron for ironing clothes, but want pressure (which weight provides) for heat transfer designs. 3) This heat press has a timer. I've been amazed how much better my work turns out when I'm a little more careful about the timing. These are the three major advantages I've found in using a heat press over my iron. To be truthful, any heat press probably delivers these. But the smaller, more compact size (even with the largest, the 12 x 10--which I purchased), and hence, easier storage when not in use...is what tipped the scales for me when choosing the Cricut over the other brands of heat presses. Answer:	It should sit in the sun. The heat from the sun helps break down the compost.

Answer:	It doesn't have true "drainage," but it is not air tight. When I add water from time to time, it does leak a bit.

Question:	Has anyone had this long enough to get usable compost? If so, would you recommend it for someone who has never done composting before
Answer:	My unit opens very easily. I have to clear the door occasionally of small debris that collect in the track the door uses. If yours was difficult to open day one use some sand paper on the door ( bottom and top edge) and / or the main unit track (to remove any plastic molding leftovers). This could solve the problem and be easier on you than a return. If no amount of removing burrs etc. helps the situation then a return may be necessary. Mold injection plastic is notorious for having to have its edges cleaned up a bit. This often is not done as much as is needed at the end of the manufacturing process. I regularly have to finish the job on plastic mold injection products. I love my unit. It is the perfect size for my porch and for me to pick up and empty. It does spill out small particles through vent holes... something one needs to expect and understand as part of the design.

Answer:	Depends on where you live and what you call winter, this needs heat and microbes to make mulch and if your using it for your kitchen waist and want to get a head start on Gardening for spring, you could keep it in a warm shed or garage and bring it out for the sunshine during the day and keep loading it all winter, lot of work, I just throw my indoor food waist straight into the garden for spring, Hope that helps !! Answer:	They are a alloy With Stainless Steel and should not corrode, but, if they do you can buy them at any local hardware store, mines 5 years old and I have not had this problem so far !! Good Luck !!

Question:	Is this product made from Ultravoilet [UV] rays protective plastic
Answer:	Once it's done we like to let it sit for a month or longer, but have used it right away before. We will add it to our raised bed gardens along with organic manure, mix well and let it sit a few weeks before planting. We do live in Phoenix, Arizona, so our compost breaks down faster.

Answer:	Yes.... although loading with a bucket would work best (easier). I shovel peat and ground up leaves into the composter from a wheel barrow. Unloading into a wheel barrow? No. taking off a lid and turning it over would work best..... turn over, dump out, and then load into a wheel barrow with a shovel,
Question:	Does this come with a handle or where could I get one
Answer:	My family raised nightcrawlers when I was a kid for vacation money. We put them in a big wooden box. My concern with the composter is that it has vents. When you rotate it, some dirt will fall out, but so could the crawlers. I'd add the compost to a different container with the nightcrawlers. My opinion.
Question:	Store seller please respond. I see most just like this are bpa free. Is thia one as well
Answer:	I have struggled empting it - I did the same with a plastic tarp. Be careful putting a pitch fork or shovel in the bin - the plastic around the rim is not that strong and will split if it is pushed against.

Answer:	Don’t really know because it was bought for my wife who has two other compost containers. She has transferred some material to the new one. She does love her new composter. States that it is exactly what she wasted.

Answer:	Yes, you can use it as a single chamber tumbler. but if so, the design of 2 doors would be redundant.

Question:	Is it possible to drain liquid buildup inside the composter
Answer:	That is the purpose of having a composter. All sorts of kitchen scraps have been placed in mine. Be sure to see what will work best by reading the instructions. Certain scraps I will not add because of the animals/rodents the smell might attract. I have added egg shells and other scraps of garden grow produce though as well as shredded paper. A good lace to learn about what to put in your composter is online.

Answer:	It measures 20" wide, 30" tall, and is 24" deep.

Answer:	I don't know the thread count but these are absolutely the softest sheets ever!! My husband and I first slept on them at an Airbnb and we ended up taking the bed apart so we could find out what the brand was. Came home and ordered a set and have since ordered multiple more. Best sheets ever!

Answer:	Yes. There are indent places as handholds to help roll it on its base. I like my 2.
Question:	Does anyone know the dimensions of the door opening
Answer:	6 x 10 inches
Question:	I'm finding the door is very difficult to slide open/closed. Is that common or do you think I have a unit with a defect
Answer:	My unit opens very easily. I have to clear the door occasionally of small debris that collect in the track the door uses. If yours was difficult to open day one use some sand paper on the door ( bottom and top edge) and / or the main unit track (to remove any plastic molding leftovers). This could solve the problem and be easier on you than a return. If no amount of removing burrs etc. helps the situation then a return may be necessary. Mold injection plastic is notorious for having to have its edges cleaned up a bit. This often is not done as much as is needed at the end of the manufacturing process. I regularly have to finish the job on plastic mold injection products. I love my unit. It is the perfect size for my porch and for me to pick up and empty. It does spill out small particles through vent holes... something one needs to expect and understand as part of the design.
Question:	how much kitchen scrap will this hold? And how long before the compost is ready to use?? Thanks
Answer:	Ours pretty much filled up in three weeks. It's ready based on how much sun you get really. We rolled ours everyday. Also, make sure to put in a little bit of moisture. Also need some grass clippings and leaves from the yard, get it going faster. Last tip: Cut up your scraps when convenient. The smaller the stuff you put in, the faster it composts!
