Question:	Confused. Says not for plastic, yet shows 5 gallon bucket in add. Can i use this with 5 gallon bucket waterer
Answer:	The directions say it's not recommended for use with plastic waterers. So to be safe I went out a and bought a different one.

Answer:	No, not that fancy. And no directions included.

Answer:	I have the large heated plastic waterer. I used it one year and the cord was damaged. I did not want to replace the waterer with one like it because I figures the cord would just be an issue again. So I cut the cord off and purchased this heater. We rigged it so that it is hanging with wire. Keeps the waterer much cleaner by hanging it. I just set last years waterer in there and I can pull it out to go fill it up. So far this is working great!

Answer:	ANYTHING you put in this feeder IS GONA GET SOAKED. Plan on building a carport over it.
Question:	How many amps does this draw
Answer:	I believe it will. I have put 5 of these out and prefer the 20 or 30 gal galvinized trash barrels. I use rechargable batteries and have extras I keep charged and change out as needed. The battery last a very long time (3-5 months or more). Great warranty and I have been using at least 4 years and had to replace only 1.
Question:	will this work on a 5 gallon water container
Answer:	8 to 10 ft depends on battery strength
Question:	Can I use this with a plastic water container? Or just metal
Answer:	You are looking at 2.4lbs per feeding for 7.20lbs a day. A 55g drum would last approximately 55 days.

Question:	My waterer is a 6" pipe, will it fit into it
Answer:	If you have trained your quail to use horizontal nipple waterers than you should be able to use this with them as the height is adjustable. The nipples don’t require a lot of force to get them to work. I used them with baby chicks and had no issues.
Question:	on what temp this heater turn to [ on ] & at what temp it shot [ off ]
Answer:	I can't guarantee anything, all I can say is I've had mine inside the chicken coop for 2 winters already. I have pine shaving on the entire floor, but 3-4 inches away from the 2 bricks that I set the base up on. The base does not put off heat that I can feel.
Question:	Can the metal be bent to fit into a smaller opening
Answer:	The published spec is 125 watts which calculates to 1.04 amps. Amps X Volts = Watts.
Question:	Does it have to be submerged at all times or it will burn out
Answer:	I use mine with a 5 gallon galvanized poultry waterer. I sit the heater on some bricks to raise it. I live in Ohio and we have had 4 degree weather this year and the water has not freezed yet.
