Question:	How deep of a hole can this make
Answer:	The auger bit is 36" (3 feet) and you can dig the full length of the bit, but you may find that the depth is slightly shallower than the 3 ft until you fully remove the dirt. If you are digging to that full depth, it is important to routinely pull the auger up to clear the dirt from the hole as you dig. If you find that you need more depth- you might want to consider adding an extension to the shaft. The Earthquake 12" and 18" extensions are available on Amazon and will fit this product.

Answer:	I found an extension on Amazon but didn't buy it, instead I made one out of a simple piece of 3/4" pipe by just drilling 2 holes at the top of the pipe and 2 holes at the bottom of the pile so I could connect one end to the engine and the other end to the bit. It was very simple and easy to do.

Answer:	Hooty_Hoo, The instructions say not to use pre-mixed fuels from service stations. However it says use synthetic 2 cycle oil and 90 octane. 87 octane worked fine in mine. Stihl sells sealed pre-measured containers of 2 cycle oil. I buy mine by the 6 pack. I use a ratio rite due to the mixture calling for 30-1. My other equipment uses 50-1. No matter what your equipment is, do what it says and your equipment will last for many years. If you don't have a ratio rite measuring container, buy one. They come in handy for other uses too. The money that you invest now preparing for the use of your equipment will save you from future grief. 6 pack of oil (more than needed)-$10.00. Fuel container-$8.00. 1 gal of gas-$2.30. Ratio Rite-$$Doesn't matter, you need one. Keep your gas fresh and mixed. You have a nice machine so protect it. All of my equipment runs as it should because I don't take chances. You'll be money ahead in the long run. Mix your own fuel. Know what you have. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Power head comes in a box that roughly 2' x 2' x 2'the bits come in 3 separate boxes 3.5' x what size the bit is. the 6" is 6" x 6" the 8" is 8" x 8" and the 12 is 12" x 12"
Question:	exactly how many inches is the bit alone
Answer:	My 6" bit was measured 24 inches plus the part that sticks out from under the motor is about 30" total.
