| Answer: | From a fellow left-hander, I do not have a problem with smudging, although it may have to do with how you position your hand (across what you have just written or angled somewhat so your hand is below the fresh ink). They smudge if you do not give the ink a few moments to dry. Once dry, the ink will still run if it gets wet. The pens do not leak and have a very smooth feel against paper. My only negative comment is that they do not last long as a pen with the usual plastic tube of ink. Not sure whether they are recyclable. |

| Answer: | The ink does not fade, although it dissolves if the paper gets wet even after the ink has dried. There is not even a faint image left; you cannot tell what had been written on the page.
