Answer:	I can only assume if it says Burgundy Maroon, then that is the color it will wriite. I've ordered a few ccolors from them before and not once did they write a different color than I expected. I've ordered the red pens before and they looked nothing like this.

Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by mush, but the point doesn't mash down like a felt tip pen, and it doesn't constantly accumulate a glob of ink like some cheaper ballpoint pens do. It's very good for ball point pen illustration.

Answer:	these pens have a medium point. I have these ones in medium point but I use the black ones in fine point. I think the medium point pens seem to write more smoothly, but I have really small handwriting so I like to have the black ones in fine point for taking notes. These are a very comfortable pen to use, and I think they last a long time. I write at least 70 pages front and back before the pen runs out.

Answer:	Do not try to paint watercolor OVER this pen. I will attach a photo to my review, so it should show up in the photos. I love these pens, but they do not go under paint, not even dry brush watercolor after letting the ink dry.

Answer:	the m3 model is best used while set on a map. the KB-20 helps you stay on line when between two point while moving. by taking an azimuth at the beginning of the course toward the end of the course, you can check your alignment by viewing the end of the course at any time and matching your initial azimuth. I use it while in a boat, guiding swimmers on a lake for the shortest distance manageable.

Answer:	Yes, gel ink will stain fabric.

Answer:	The box that my pens are in only states, latex free. There is no indication that they are acid free.

Answer:	I did not see any bleed through. I always used them to fill out one sided documents and log sheets. However, I don't think they would be good for two sided writing because the ink is such a heavy line and dark. (Unless the paper was thicker than the standard notebook sheet or copy paper.)

Question:	Can this pen use Pilot G2 refills
Answer:	No, but Pentel is similar to the G2 but the refill doesn't last was long. Look at the Mr Grip refillable pens. They are a little larger for a better grip and take G2 refills. I had both and liked them until finally giving in to gifting it to a nagging co worker about how much safe loved it. The other one was stolen.
Question:	I would like to order only the red barrel Pentel without having to get the entire pack of four. Is that possible
Answer:	Yes

Answer:	Most come with black ink. You have to scroll down on each page and look for a description of the ink color. I like blue ink, so I ordered blue refill cartridges separately for my gold pen.
Question:	For those who have used this pen for any amount of time, does the coloring on the barrell start to rub off
Answer:	I use one every day and don't have this problem. I have had a couple of the replacement cartridges spring some ugly ink leaks, tho. I just replace them with another cartridge and keep using these pens. I love them.

Answer:	My "Sparkle Pop" pens take several minutes to dry on regular paper.
Question:	Does the sparkle pop pack 1 come with a silver? It shows purple in the photo but that is in pack 2, so i wonder if they repeated that color
Answer:	Pack 1 has black/red, green/blue, purple/blue, and an orange/gold (or dark yellow). Pack 2 has a blue/green, dark pink/light pink, purple/blue, and a gold/yellow. The difference is the way they look on black paper and on white (or light) paper. I have all 8 of these pens and none of them write silver. Answer:	Oh for sure! I like to use them to color, and they have an effect like no other. I am not one to encourage spending money but these are defiantly worth it.

Answer:	The ink is waterproof and you can use a highlighter - just make sure the ink is dry before highlighting.
Question:	The title/description says .5 mm needle tip, but the picture shows the larger medium tip. Which is correct
Answer:	There are 3 options of tip size on the one page- .5mm .7mm and 1mm. Not all sizes are available in all color options and not all color and size combinations are available in the multiple pack quantity options. Whichever size you choose in whichever color opted for will arrive in the pack quantity selected despite what the generic picture depicts as it is only 1 of the many options offered.
Question:	Are these the cheaper ones made in Mexico or the high quality ones that are made in Japan
Answer:	The ones I received (May 2020) were made in Mexico. Definitely cheaply made - even the box was falling apart when I received them. One barrel was already cracked. We could attribute that to bad packaging, but my "old favorite", which was made in Japan, would NOT have cracked in shipping. I also noticed right away that the barrel color was different. I've used the ones made in Japan for 20+ years and they were - emphasis on were - my favorite pen.
Question:	Will the problem of the cracked barrels that has been going on for over 3 years ever be addressed? I see A LOT of people are having the same problem
Answer:	I've had the exact same issue. Pen had a crack just above the grip; the pen doesn't stay together. Have to keep finding the pieces after it goes flying everywhere. I've bought refills already but I won't be buying anymore after I'm done with the refills.
