Answer:	I have the film adapter for the Nikon ES-1 slide adaptor. I have used the ES-1 to copy both slides and 35mm film negatives with my DSLR and yes, the adaptor does do the job for the negatives. Is it as easy as placing a slide in the ES-1? No, it takes a little more fiddling to get the negative properly placed in the adaptor especially since the adaptor splits into 2 halves that are not hinged together and have to be sort of "clicked" together properly with the film properly centered in between. Then you have to sort of hold the 2 halves together while you do any brushing and air puffing and then slip the assembly into the ES-1 like you would a slide. There is enough slack that the film strip can be moved back and forth a little with some resistance to facilitate centering in the adaptor without being too loose. This all may sound daunting, but with a little practice it's ok.

Answer:	If I use regular 20lb paper, I can see the print on the reverse side, although I wouldn't call it a "bleed" - there are no splotches. Usually I use 24lb paper though and you can't see through it.
