Answer:	Sorry for the delayed answer as I was on vacation! Happy New Year!! Yes, this item came to me in a Mont Blanc black pen box with MB logo on it , the soft inner with the slot for the pen etc. It was kept in a MB card paper wrapping box - std. cream color.

Answer:	Yes. I have several Montblanc Pen. This is a original Montblanc Pen.

Answer:	They are plastic, but very flimsy. The 16 mil aren't much better. I sent them back and purchased 20 ml black plastic covers. The 20 ml still aren't as thick as what I originally purchased, but can't find the original vendor. Don't buy anything less than 20 ml. (10 ml clear plastic covers are okay to use for the front of a report.)

Answer:	I took a new one out of an unopened box and it measured exactly 3”. I ordered it Sep 18, 2018, seller was Great Ones For You, so it is a fairly new piston. It is my spare. Hope this helps.

Answer:	What? Replace an old dried out montblanc piston from an original piston pen? I don't think so. What you could get, is a electro static cleaner. Run it with a solvent that will dissolve the ink that is keeping the piston from moving. Also, the pen does not have a piston like what's in a radiographic pen. The ink just flows from the ink source through the slot in the nib. The pen's nib just need to be clean.
Question:	Does this come in the original box
Answer:	Well, I bought and received the piston a while back. I don't remember if it came in the original box or not. I just cared if it fit the pen or not. When I bought the pen, I bought it at a very serious art store in Los Angeles, and was told to use a Pelican pen piston converter because it was the same thing as the Mont Blanc's. Well, I did that and had it in my pen for so many years. Well, the Mont Blanc converter looks nicer with the gold color, though no one sees the internal ink converter. I think that the Mont Blanc's converter is better, maybe because of the color, maybe because of the name, but I think and feel more confident that I'm using the correct ink converter.

Answer:	No, not all. Some of the fountain pens only work with bottled ink. Any montblanc pen that allows cartridges can use these.

Answer:	They should fit. I have only seen Montbanc to fit only one type of cartridge. This should fit. My model is a slim line too. I prefer the cartridges. I would order one package and if that works, then you know for sure.
