Answer:	I’ve never used it on my lips but I use it daily in the shower to wash my face. I cannot wash my face without one now! You won’t regret your purchase.

TIPS TO ENSURE GOOD INK FLOW IN YOUR FOUNTAIN AND CALLIGRAPHY PENS

• Each cartridge measures approx 40mm (1.5") in length. Please compare with your current cartridge to make sure it will fit your pen.
• NEVER use waterproof ink as this will clog your pen.
• DO NOT squeeze your cartridge to stimulate ink flow. This will damage the cartridge
• DO NOT drop or even tap your pen against a hard surface as this is likely to damage both the nib, the cartridge and even the seal between the lid and the body of the pen. To avoid accidental damage, always replace the cap after use. This also stops the ink from drying inside the pen.
• OCCASIONALLY wash the nib after use as per the following instructions: Carefully remove the old ink cartridge, placing it on a paper towel to protect against potential leakage. Now gently rinse the nib in soapy, warm water until water runs clear. Dry thoroughly before putting in a new cartridge. Make sure when you put the new ink cartridge in, you push firmly enough to hear a loud "click". This is how you know the ink is inserted correctly.

Press Firmly:

Push the cartridge firmly into the feed until you feel the cartridge puncture. This may take more force than you expect. You will be rewarded by a satisfying "click"!

Leave the Pen Tip Down:

It can take a while for the ink to fully saturate the pen, so don’t worry if it doesn’t start writing right away. You should shake it gently if you would like to speed up the process, although this may result in a small amount of leakage or spillage.

Answer:	Both JetPens and Amazon offer the Rotring refills for about $ 8.00. Blick has refills for the Rotring ArtPen, which are Not the same as for the Rotring Rapidograp pen.Beware of the difference between the Rotring Radiograph and the Rotring Isograph is the refilling mechanisms are different. Sure Amazon and others can set whatever price they wish but it still does not explain why a person would buy a replacement tip for nearly the same coat as an entire pen! Given that these pen bodies are prone to splitting from over tightening of the threads while removing the pen tip, I’d think it’s crazy not to replace the entire pen considering this pricing if for no other reason but having a spare pen body for the time of their wearing out.

Answer:	I'm not sure that it fits the Rotring Skynn. It is certainly a standard international converter, and is being marketed as a Rotring one because Rotring no longer makes them. The only thing remotely Rotringesque about it is the red rubber ring on the plunger.
Question:	What is the difference between this junior set and the college set other than the additional pen in the college set
Answer:	If I understand correctly, this shouldn't be a problem. It would require wiping the excess ink off the outside surface of the converter as well (probably) the pain. The problem would be if the converter were larger than the ink bottle. Personally I really like fountain pens so I'm willing to put up w a bit of mess doing this- I fill the converter/ pen over the sink. I think if the converter were larger than the bottle you'd have to transfer the ink to another bottle with an eye dropper or use a small funnel for that. I like this pen a lot; good for writing and drawing. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes it does.

Answer:	Yes, it does, though you won't think so at first. As Lynn S. mentioned, you have to push rather harder than you would think. And the length does fit inside the barrel of the pen. So happily you can use whatever ink you like. The cartridges all offer water-soluble ink, and I wanted waterproof ink. So this cartridge allows me to use the excellent Noodler's Waterproof Ink.

Answer:	Sure. This pen uses Parker-style refills. Several companies make the ballpoint or gel refills in red.

Answer:	Yes, as long as the space pen refill comes with the Parker G2 plastic adapter, to make the space pen refill longer. As long as it comes with the white adapter in the space pen refill package, it'll definitely work. When you have the adapter, they'll fit into ANY pen that accepts Parker G2 style metal refills. I strictly use the Parker G2 .7mm black and blue gel refills, or the Schmidt Easyflow 9000 medium refills. Anything else is just a waste of money and refills. I also have a Machine Era Markup Pen that ONLY accepts Pilot G2 refills that I like to write with occasionally and a 1.0mm Gel refill writes heavenly for me. But it has a crappy pocket clip so lives at home. I wish that Parker and Schmidt would make a 1.0mm bold tip refill, but until they do, they'll get my money for the medium tips 😉 I have TRIED to love the Fisher Space Pen refills over the last few years (everyone likes different things obviously lol), and as much as I wanted to (my last name is even Fisher LoL 😁), I just don't like them anymore. They really do write like junk and need a LOT of downward pressure to write half decent, which gives my hand fatigue quickly, and IMO, are only usable in very rough locations and where the hot/cold, writing on grease and water, etc are viable. If you want a nice, cheap pen that uses the space pen refills, just get a Zebra F-701 at Walmart for like $7-8. The refill fits in there perfectly, without any mods. That's my preferred way to use the space pen refills. They're not hexagonal, but are very comfortable, with the same knurled grip as the Rotring above 😎👍 Best of luck if you actually get to read my answer 😎

Answer:	It can get confusing because the traditional Parker Jotter refill has been known as the "G2" refill for many, many decades. It is not cross-compatable will the pilot G2 gel refills. Pilot should not have named their pen this. I wish Pilot would come out with their gels in a Parker G2 compatable cartridge that would fit my Rotrings. Monte Verde makes good multi color gel and hybrid cartridges to fit this. The best black ink in a compatable refill is the Schmidt easyFLOW 9000 hybrid ink, IMO. It is made in Germany, like the original Rotrings were.
