Answer:	The PILOT Precise Grip doesn't have a specific v7/v5 designation. They come in either "Bold" or "Extra Fine" point. This is the "Bold" point. To compare with other PILOT pens, I would suggest that the "Bold" point is closest to a v10. "Fine" point is closest to a v7. "Extra Fine" point is closest to v5. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I haven’t but they write very much like the flairs so I would assume anything you can do with a flair you can do with these. They are slightly finer but other than that they are the same.
