Answer:	All 3 types work the same regardless of depth. the only difference this product has is the temperature in which you can use it. So based on your core temp. of rock or concrete. If your in the 90's you more than likely will using the Dexpan 1. You always want to apply the product as early as possible. Drill holes and prep day before. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to call a Dexpan Rep.
Question:	How do you retract the lead
Answer:	I think it's unlikely that it would work on stumps. Wood is much less brittle and less stiff than rock, so would probably just locally crush around the dexpan instead of splitting. I would call dexpan tech support to confirm.

Question:	I have read that we should pull out the eraser to insert new lead but it is very hard to remove the eraser. Any advice
Answer:	Yea they are non-toxic and acid-free. The pens are in gel ink not water-based or oil-based, so the writng is waterproof and not easy to fade over time when you write on the standard paper mateial like the A4 and also the pens are fast dry. If you write on paper covered with film, it's not easy to write with.
Question:	My order only came with 3 pencils, what am I supposed to do
Answer:	The colored gel pens use the premium water-based ink so it is water-resistant when write on the normal A4 paper material. For the cards with glossy surface, the gel ink is not so easily to be absorbed into the paper, so the water-resistance is not so good as the A4 paper material.

Pentel seems to be the only manufacturer that sells replacement erasers for their pencils. Seems Bic simply wants you to buy more pencils when you run out of erasers for these. My spoiled kids apparently like the eraser on the end, versus having to use the big pink eraser...

Answer:	The 800 has a slightly more aggressive grip and a more sharp, hexagonal body. However, the retractable tip is different; you have to twist the cap to move the tip. I think that the 800 is actually more steady compared to the rapid pro. If you only want to buy Mars plastic erasers and Pentel leads, Amazon is fine. But if you want something more specialized, jetpens is best.

Answer:	That is the design of that model. The tip must retract with slight pressure but not retract when you are writing with the pencil. If you are using the pencil with a ruler it may retract. Two other mechanical pencils I use are the Graphgear 1000 by Pentel and the Rotring 800 and both of these pencils operate with a positive mechanical movement to retract the tip.

Answer:	The lead DOES retract. Hold the pencil point down on a flat surface and push the eraser; the lead will disappear. Or, hold the pencil upside down and push the eraser. Those who say the lead will not retract are wrong.

Answer:	You can find some on amazon or at your local office supply store. The only thing you need to worry about is that you are getting the correct size of graphite / lead.Make sure you get 0.7 mm for these mechanical pencils. Be careful in the future, other pencils may have a different size of graphite that they need.

Answer:	I order 1/4" diameter eraser pen refills, cut them into 3/8" lengths and then shave one end down a bit with an Exacto knife. It is a bit labor-intensive but works and keeps some plastic out of the landfill.
