Answer:	The X-ACTO Model 41 sharpener's largest hole size is 10.75 mm.

Answer:	No. The hole sizes are fine, but the helical blades are too deep inside the machine. You can't sharpen anything shorter than about 2.5 inches in this unit. Sharpening golf pencils for church is the reason we bought this unit, so we're returning it (sadly, because it's otherwise a brilliant machine).

Answer:	I'd say "yes" to thin pens or thin paintbrushes, and "no" to regular size scissors and compass. Mini scissors might work.

Answer:	No they do not. Wouldn't recommend this anyways. The blades rust. Not a high quality product.

Answer:	The 2 guy logo is the premium brand ZWILLING JA HENCKELS, Zwilling means twin in German hence the twin logo. With very few exceptions all products with the twin logo are made in Germany. The exceptions are the Cermax and Bob Kramer knives, these are made in their factory in Japan. The single guy logo is the value brand JA HENCKELS INTERNATIONAL, these knives are lower in price and made in Spain or Asia. The difference between the different color stickers is exactly that, the color nothing else. This is the one man logo, so probably made in China.

Answer:	The top is unlikely to come free, and it traps the shavings more than enough to keep your backpack shavings free. But I'd never trust it to completely trap all the graphite dust, which could contaminate new bundles of counterfeit bills or other paper you needed to keep pristine. It would probably be ok if you just carried around a severed head.
