Answer:	No. It lifts off but when it's on, it's pretty snug. Mine came a little bent on one of the corners on the lid so it was very hard to put the lid back on. I took some pliers and bent it back to shape and it fits perfectly now.

Answer:	FWIW: My most erasable colored pencils are: Col-Erase, which come in many colors; Ticonderoga checking pencils, "carmine red"; Ticonderoga Erasable, "purple 396T". I bought the Ticonderoga red and purple in packs of four, e.g. 4 red pencils in one package.

Answer:	The description says they are latex-free. We have a teacher who is allergic to latex and can't be near where it's in the air (like if someone pops a balloon or uses a latex eraser) and she's had no problems with these in her class so the description is correct.

Answer:	Unfortunately, no. I purchased these when they were on sale for $3.39 (for 8 dozen). I work with students in high school, and go through about a dozen each day. When I go to sharpen these, every 6-8 pencils comes out of the sharpener with broken lead, and needs to be resharpened. When using them with the students, the lead breaks more often, and I need to keep more available so no one needs to get up to go sharpen another one. Answer:	So far i have used 132,436 boxes. The main floor is finished (adhesive/drywall). We chose the non-sharpened as we are doing the log cabin style home with buttress ends. We went with hot melt glue stick as it tends to form into the pencils, and has proven to be somewhat self calibrating during the summer months. My advice is to double up under any tub/shower structure (we learned this the hard way). Also...be aware any kids under the age of 7 will be gnawing like rabbits on the skirting.

Answer:	Hello, as far as I know these erasers erase only black pencil marks. I believe there are special erasers for colored pencils. Thank you for your interest!

Answer:	I really don't know. Doesn't say on package.. They are great though and these are all we buy for my 8 year old grandson.
