Answer:	The 2100HD uses E8 thermal time cards. These time cards have print cells for 4 punches per day, for 7 days (Mon-Sun). You can print the actual date in addition to the time, so some companies will cross over days on the card for extra punches (more than 4 per day) if necessary.
Question:	I farm in central Arizona, will this work outdoors or will the dust mess up the thermal printing
Answer:	The product is not rated for outdoor use with direct exposure to the elements. If you can locate in an enclosed shed or work trailer with an available power outlet, it should operate properly.

Answer:	No, this is a stand alone unit that simply prints the current time on an employee's paper time card. The time is kept internally, so no internet connection is required.

Answer:	I would not buy this time clock if you do bi-weekly pay periods. You have to use a new time card for each of the two weeks, and then try to add the two weeks together. Customer Service is not at all helpful.

Answer:	I have not found a way to correct the time card. We have the employee write in time and approve by supervisor. Please note: we have had issues setting up this time clock from day one. BUT It has made our small shop easier to keep track of time because it does all the calculations for us (except for the ones that forget to punch in and out)! The font is very small to read.
Question:	I misplaced the little keys that clme with the clocks. How do I get that replaced
Answer:	The 7500E has an internal radio antenna that picks up the US Atomic Clock's WWVB signal broadcast from Fort Collins, Colorado. The 7500E uses that signal, along with the Time Zone setting to adjust the time to the exact second. If the Time Zone is set incorrectly, the time will be off by 1 hour. You can also completely disable the Time Zone adjustment, and the 7500E will not adjust the hour automatically. Answer:	The clock is powered by a standard 2-prong power cord plugged into your AC wall outlet. The 7500E contains an internal lithium backup battery that keeps all time, settings and data during power loss, but the clock is non-functional. Everything is backed up and returns to normal when power is restored. The 7500E has an optional rechargeable UPS battery backup that plugs into the back of the unit which provides full operation for 24 hours during power loss. Answer:	Sorry for the delay in answering, but I had to go look at the time clock. Yes, it does have a ribbon. For the power source there is simply a cord that plugs into a standard outlet. I'm pleased with this clock now that I've found out how to use it with our biweekly time cards. It prints not only the time, but day and date as well. Makes my payroll preparation much easier.

Answer:	The clock has a setting called Max Hours In which you can adjust. After an extended number of hours (13 hours is default), the clock assumes the employee missed their out punch, and makes the next punch the first in punch for the new day (not the out punch for the prior day). Since it does not have an Out punch for the prior day, it will put an asterisk next the printed totals, indicating there is a missing punch, and you and must calculate that pair of punches manually, and add to the total hours for the period.
Question:	Does this run on batteries or connected to the power as we have a lot of power cuts and need something that will continue during power outages
Answer:	Yes, in Calculating mode, the unit can be set to deduct a set number of minutes (automatic break deduction) from the daily total hours after a certain number of hours have been worked by that employee. For example, you set it to deduct 30 minutes as long as the employee works at least 4 hours.

Answer:	Yes, the printer will imprint multi-part copies up to 3mm (~1/8") total thickness. The exact number of copies it will imprint through will vary depending on the paper weight of your specific form.

Answer:	No. This model will print the Date, or Day of the Week, along with the time. The Lathem Model LT5000 can be custom programmed to print just the time in Hours (1-12am/pm or 0-23) and Minutes. Printing seconds is also an option.

Question:	I have misplaced my key is there another way to open it or order another key
Answer:	It had a few quirks but I actually thought it was a significant plus for my own uses. If not for that, I would prefer a larger multi-cooker in an oblong shape for things like roasts and larger family meals. This cooker is designed round in part to accommodate that new stirring mechanism. Obviously if you don't have recipes that need it, it's really no use.
