Answer:	TheeAndy, this stapler does not expand, in other words you can not reconfigure to use as a "slap stapler".

Answer:	I purchased this stapler to make masks. In doing so I staple multiple layers of materials without any issues. So in my opinion, it will easily staple 2 pieces of cloth 1/8" thick. However, I strongly urge you to purchase the correct staples for this stapler. If you don't you won't get the results you want. Contact a competent Cust. Service Rep. who can marry the correct staples to this stapler. I made multiple trips to a store and made multiple returns via UPS before I was able to get what I needed. Great stapler for sure.

Answer:	I think we had the same issue, contact amazon seems their description of the correct staples is incorrect. WE had to get another part number for the staples, don't use amazon's recommended staple. They did send us the correct staples.

This Swingline is probably one of the last best things imported to America from China. At least Acco Brands is still located in Illinois a heartland of America. Americans has an affinity for products such as this that remind them, or take them back to their youth, better days, better times, when we were learning about school implements which then grew up, as we did, into office instruments and implements. No one likes the crap that we are now working with in America, which is cheaply made overseas and expensive to buy here in Country. Question:	Does it come with staples
Answer:	You would get which ever stapler or color you click prior to adding it to the cart. We ordered a pink one with the breast cancer ribbon on it. It's been since Christmas and it works perfectly. It's used daily in home office.
Question:	Is the magazine supposed to pop out when you close it or do I have a defective one
Answer:	The bottom of the stapler flips open and then you just pull out the bar to load The stables. Super easy
