Answer:	The printer will perform within the prescribed parameters of your software. With this being said, most printers, this one included are not designed to feed a single check through without risking the small paper becoming jammed. We do not recommend printing on pages other than 4.13 x 5.83 to 8.5 x 11.69 or envelopes other than A4; A5; A6. Sizes other than the aforementioned may not perform properly and might cause issues.

Answer:	Yes just depends on what ink cartridge your printer takes. If your printer calls for a 65 then you will purchase a 65 in MICR ink cartridge if it calls for a 63 then you will purchase the 63 in MICR ink cartridge.

Answer:	I have only used the Versalink-nano with the HPOfficejet 4650.

Answer:	I do not know. If HP63 cartridge fits to your deskjet, it will probably fit. I had been using these magnetic ink refills for years, but recently it keeps plugging the printing head. After plugging killed 1 canon printer I purchased a lower end HP to use MICR ink and it god plugged and died, too. Maybe I did not print checks often enough, but just be prepared.

Answer:	If you are using black check stock, you will need a check encoding software such as Versa Check. If your check stock already has banking information, you don't need anything. Just print checks directly from QuickBooks.
Question:	How do you get my bank account number and routing number on the check
Answer:	I use the program Versacheck which allows you to put in all you bank information and properly formats it for you. The other thing you need is MICR ink/toner to print them with. This toner allows your financial institution to electronically read your account info.
