Question:	Are these labels paper? if not, are they hard to rip? lastly, how well do they stick? i’m looking to label tile and need a strong label. thanks
Answer:	I did a rip test with some scrapps I have. It was difficult to start a rip. Had to give it a little snip with scissors ... once started, it ripped ok. It is paper that is coated with a finish that turns black with heat. The print fades with exposure to sunlight. It sticks very well to paper and other stuff as well. I just did a stick test and found it did not stick very well to floor tile, ceramic tile, and glass or plastic when a piece was stuck on one end (Part of a piece) then leveraged off very well. Stuck better to wood, but still leveraged off easily pulling a little of the wood from its surface. On paper, it is stuck forever, unsurprisingly. My conclusion is that it will stick to tile at least temporarily. Without a tab of unapplied label it sticks much better and may be difficult to remove from some smooth surfaces. The backing paper is kine of plastic paper that is designed to come apart from the printed label...so sticking to many plastic items is not probably very good.

Answer:	How any laser printer prints on "stickers" depends on the surface of the stickers. I have printed labels for CDs successfully using the Linkyo toner because the surface of the labels is similar to the surface of normal sheets of paper. If the paper surface feels like there is some plastic-like substance on it,then the toner may not stick well (regardless of what brand of toner you use).

Answer:	I get it on the left side of the page.

Answer:	No need to replace the drum until you get an alert. I have a Brother 2270DW and have replaced the cartridge two or three times and am still on the original drum.
Question:	i just installed one but the printer still is saying the toner is low; install new toner
Answer:	I have the 7360 and 7065. we ignore the toner low message. every time we replace toner we set the toner mode to continuous. Menu - > General Setup -> Replace Toner -> Continuous. Otherwise it stops printing a little bit after the toner low message pops up.

Answer:	TZe-231 tape includes the generally very good conventional Brother adhesive, TZe-S231 uses Brothers extra strength adhesive: It holds better on uneven and rough-textured surfaces, and surfaces exposed to harsh environments like outdoors. The "S" in the part designation stands for "Extra Strength". It should not be used on painted surfaces if you expect to need to remove the label since it may damage the paint when you try to peel it off.

Answer:	Could never fix the message to replace the drum message. No further problems with the original Brother drum unit

Answer:	Unfortunately, the procedure for resetting your drum will vary depending on which printer you have. (These drums fit several models of Brother printers.) Your best bet is to just do a Google search for "drum reset" and the model of your printer. Sorry to be able to offer a more informative answer.

Answer:	Not sure but I was disappointed with the drum. I keep getting replace drum notices, even after I reset the printer, and the print quality is OK. I paid the extra and went back to an original brand brother drum

Answer:	I've never had this error. Sometimes a Brother printer may say it doesn't recognize the TONER cartridge....but I've never had the printer say it didn't recognize the drum. I HAVE had it happen so that a Brother printer may insist that the drum needs changing even though it's a new drum. In those cases, you just need to go into your settings and do a "drum reset". I wish I could tell you exactly how to do it but the instructions vary depending on exactly which model you have. You should be able to find it by doing a Google search for "drum reset" and the model number of your printer. I hope that assists!
