Answer:	Amazon apparently removed the ability to comment on other Q&A responses so this isn't an answer to the question as much as it is a comment on Berkeley systems re: California. If sold in California, perhaps the issue is that there would be a Prop 65 warning attached? If I'm not mistaken this regulatory label would apply to virtually anything with activated carbon (filter material). For that matter, Prop 65 warnings also appear on coffee because of the acrylamides formed during roasting (similar with french fries and searing of meat during cooking). Consequently, most restaurants in CA also have Prop 65 warnings on the door. If you buy a leather office chair, same thing (due to chemicals used in tanning and leather dying). In a nutshell, everything can give you cancer! So on a related note: Why are these out of stock and when will they be back in stock, assuming that this Berkley system can ship to CA residents?

We have had our system for years now, have replaced the PF-2 (fluoride & other contaminants) twice now, but the black filters can last a very long time - just need to be cleaned periodically with a 3-M pad. It's the best system on the market, least expensive to purchase and least expensive to operate, and can be used outside (camping, emergency water needs, etc.). Nothing better available; we very highly recommend it.

Answer:	I don't have the travel version but the one I have is very easy to clean. When water compartment is empty I unscrew cartridge and rinse it off really well with plain water. I know it needs cleaned when the water starts coming out slower.

Answer:	I'm not a mineral expert, but I can tell you that we use or Berkey every day and for all our drinking water needs. Before, we would order those big bottles and lug them up our steps. No more. The water from our tap tastes heavily chlorined but when it comes out filtered through our Berkey - it tastes chemical free and delicious. I can't say if any minerals are being filtered out - but I surely don't want to drink what's coming our of our tap water - and we live in an area where the tap water is considered very good - just not nearly as good as what we get from the Berkey. We're getting the smaller unit for our RV too. Sorry if this reads like a commercial - but we love our Berkey.

I've found this "investment tank" cartridge system to be very efficient with ink management.

Answer:	XL ink has 10.8 ml of ink and the regular one has 6.5 ml. The XL has 66% more ink that the regular ink tanks. So in theory you should be able to print out more. I'm in store buying my first pack of XL ink tanks now, so only time will tell if I really get way more print outs.

Answer:	As far as I know, all models that use the PGI-270/PLI-271 require TWO black ink cartridges: 1 large cartridge and 1 smaller cartridge. This combo pack includes the large black ink cartridge but not the smaller one so you will need to purchase that separately. The model number for the smaller black ink cartridge is "PLI-271 Black". I hope this comment is helpful.

Question:	I would like to know why it only available in 1-3 months from Amazon when all the other cartridges are available immediately
Answer:	Your printer driver will tell you the model of ink cartridge needed. My MX892 printer driver says it's for "MX890 Series" which implies that the driver is the same as that for the MX890. You can get definitive information from your printer driver Status Monitor. One way to open the Status Monitor follows. When it prints (or tries to print but fails if it is out of one of the inks), on the print queue, under the Printer menu click Properties. On the Properties window click the Maintenance tab. On the Maintenance tab click View Printer Status at the bottom. The Status Monitor will show a bar chart of the four inks in the printer, with a yellow circle with an exclamation point over any inks that are low or missing. Click on the four inks bar chart to open the Ink Details box. The ink model number for any ink that is low or missing is shown. To get the model numbers for all the inks, click "Ink Model Number" to bring up that page in the Pinter Help.

Answer:	The CLI-251 is not compatible with the MG3620. It is compatible with the canon MX922,iP8720,iX6820,MG7520, MG6420, MG5620, and MG5721 Printers.

Answer:	The box says yes, it is also for MG5520.
Question:	What are the differences between the Canon PG 240XL and Canon PG 240 Non-XL? I've read comments that the XL version has more ink than the Non XL but both ink cartridges are same size? o.O
Answer:	I believe the 250 PGBK ink is used for photographs on photo paper. The 251 BK is used for regular printing on regular paper. So, the 251 BK is probably going to run out faster if you use it for everyday printing.
Question:	what is the difference between 240XL and 240XXL ink
Answer:	It would be impossible for me to count the number of pages for each cartridge used; my printer uses 6 cartridges. In one year I spent $352 on cartridges, three times the cost of the printer. Except for rare occasions I only print in black at the lowest possible setting. I no longer consider the warnings to replace the cartridges because it's up to me to decide whether or not I like the finished printed page.

Answer:	251 XL Colors have 11ml of ink. Not sure how much is in the regular size cartridges

Answer:	These are definitely the right ones for the Pixma MG5420, however they are not all the tanks it takes which is probably why it says they are not compatible. You also need the the CLI-250 and CLI-251 black tanks. And I always buy the XL (Large) Tanks.
Question:	will these cartriges work with Canon pixma MX
Answer:	PLEASE - Remove the comment by RaeG dated October 22, 2015 - it has incorrect information. The CL-251XL cartridge does have 11 ml of ink but the regular CL-251 cartridge does NOT have 9ml - it has 7ml!!!
Question:	Will these printer cartridges work with the ip4300 Pixma Canon printers
Answer:	The combo pack I have includes a #250 black which appears to be larger than the #251. My printer has both the #250 and #251 cartridges. The #251 appears to be sold separately.
