Answer:	You are correct, the drop is approximately 4inches. I didn't have a ruler at work, but is definitely not 11 inches in lenth. I can believe if they were talking 11 centimeters.

Answer:	I agree with the others.. Yes D-ring hooks would work as long as they aren't too thick.

Answer:	Yes but but the door probably won't close.
Question:	Can the board be hung vertically
Answer:	1/4" inch is the width of the hook metal piece. Now for the plastic gray piece to hang over a cubicle wall I needed a 2" width to hang the hook over it, but it was 1/2" too short. So I would say the width of the hook to hang over a cubicle is 1.5" wide. Hope that answers your question. I couldn't use it though because all of our cubicle walls are the same width.
