Answer:	Yes, they did not come with an adhesive backing and the adhesive strips don't work. To attach to plywood, I might use Gorilla Glue or maybe an epoxy. Good luck :)

Answer:	I measured them, they are exactly halfway between 1/8 and 1/4 inches. (Which is not uncommon. 2x4s are just under the actual 2 inch by 4 inch measurement) but I was annoyed. Otherwise, I do like them.
Question:	Will the adhesive ruin my wall when the cork boards are removed
Answer:	I've used this type in my classroom. The best procedure I've ever found is to frame the spot on the wall with painter's tape and attach the cork tile to the tape with a glue gun. You might not be able to reuse the cork tile when removed, but the wall should be nearly flawless.
Question:	The description says it's 1/4" thick, but several reviewers say it's 1/8" or that it is too thin for regular push pins. Can anyone confirm
Answer:	The initial description says they are 3/8" thick, but they are barely 1/4" thick. No you cannot use standard push pins, unless you never plan to reuse the wall underneath without having to refinish it. They do not come with enough adhesive to put all 8 up, and even then they are flimsy.

Care and Maintenance

Keeping Your Board Sanitized:

Wash your John Boos cutting board with hot soapy water after each use and dry with a clean towel or let it air dry. For further sanitation, the board can be rinsed with a vinegar or chlorine bleach solution. (1 teaspoon bleach to one quart of water/5-to-1 ratio of vinegar to water) Do not soak the board in water, this will damage the wood. Like all natural wood cutting boards, John Boos boards are not intended for the dishwasher.

Maintaining Your Board:

Oil your cutting board on all surfaces every 3-4 weeks to maintain the original Boos block cream finish with beeswax. Answer:	It comes with different adapters to run on many different power. i.e. different countries.

Answer:	It is electrical. The light comes with various adapters so you can plug into just about any recepticle. I live in USA so I put the right adapter on and plug into my 115-120v. Yes, hitting the ring (which is closely the same diameter as board, slightly bigger) can and will mess your darts up. I solved that issue by applying a 1" semi-hard, piece of foam on the ring, facing the shooter. This has effectively saved my 2 pairs of $100+ darts. Plus is it also catches the dart from "doubling the ring, and then hitting the ground for a double 'Doh'! facter. Hope this helps

A plastic board can also harbor bacteria but is amenable to being cleaned in a dishwasher or with soap and hot water. We put a few plastic bumpers on the bottom of the wood cutting board to prevent water buildup between the wood and the granite surface, as water between the wood and granite can result in a buildup of mildew and black mold (unless you religiously dry the underside after each use).

Answer:	I would not recommend doing that. This is a sturdy, quality made product with a bit of weight to it and not sure the command strips would hold it over the long haul. Understand, this is just my opinion - my board is anchored to studs in a wall. It is possible that with a number of command strips you could get it to hold, but I would look for something a little lighter.

Our story

In 2003 Epicurean was founded by custom skate park manufacturer TrueRide as a way to repurpose excess skating surface material used by the company. The founders of TrueRide knew of the history of the surface material in commercial kitchens, so creating a line of home food prep surfaces from scrap was as natural as, well, skating on it. They knew the wood fiber composite used in skate park ramps was durable, non-porous, and dishwasher safe. It had been used in commercial kitchens for years. TrueRide skate parks last for years outdoors with extensive abuse from both weather and skaters, so you can be sure your Epicurean product can handle even the hardest working kitchen. Today, Epicurean cutting boards, kitchen tools, and utensils are at the center of everyday life for both casual cooks and seasoned gourmets. Question:	How would one spray paint or paint the edges
Answer:	The boarder is made of what appears to be very fragile thin particle board. Mine was delivered broken so I had to hot glue it to avoid further damage. The actual cork board is good/fair quality. So far, after the repair I made, it’s held up. I am gentle when I pin and unpin papers since it’s not a heavy duty item.
Question:	What are the internal dimensions of the cork board (viewable area inside the frame
Answer:	Not very. The lock isn’t solid steel & it’s fairly easy for anyone with a flathead screwdriver to break open. It took all but a few minutes for someone to break the lock open on mine which rendered it useless as a security box. Very disappointing.
Question:	Description and title say 23 x 35 just making sure if that is true
Answer:	If you were looking down the box you could possibly fit about 5-7 manga books vertically in a horizontal position or perhaps 10 if you put the books in flat.

Answer:	No, there is no beveled edge or lip on the cutting board.
Question:	What is the Shore Hardness D of this board
Answer:	Not sure what D means but I use it for leather work with ultra sharp tools and for hole punching with a 2 ton press and it is holding up very well. I would say it is as hard as my commercial grade boards.
Question:	Does this have a smooth surface
Answer:	The surface has a soft grain texture to it. It's not smooth like a plate.
Question:	How tick this board is
Answer:	It is a cutting board, not a clock. It does not tick.
