Answer:	There’s an on switch on the back (I think). Has to be switched on to erase with the button on the front. It’s been a while since we’ve had these but I remember being confused about that at first too.

How Does IW2 Work?

Answer:	Not sure what age range this covers, but my granddaughter used it for math problems during remote learning. She was in the 4th grade @ the time. She liked it very much because she didn't need scrap paper to do her math problems.
