Question:	With all the rolling and bending, do the pages stay in? What kind of binding? It's such a fat notebook it would need to last a while
Answer:	Extremely! That's why I bought this, and it has not let me down! The paper is very thick, so the ink does not bleed through. The paper also does not damage the tip of the pen.

Answer:	There is an orange card stock flap on either side which does not provide much support, but in the back there is a cardboard cover that provides some rigidity. Not as perfectly firm as a hardbacked book, but provides enough structure that I can write easily on my lap.

Answer:	Yes, the pages are perforated just before the spiral binding. Pages teat off neat and clean.

Answer:	No, I do not think this would work very well with such a small fire pit. It works fantastic for ours, but ours is 36 inches in diameter. The cover fits perfectly. The elastic is not super tight and the seaming would all be in the wrong places.

Answer:	We purchased this cover. At the peak it is at least 12 inches. FYI Left our cover on all winter here is Wisconsin. At one time it was covered with 2 feet of snow! It still looks new! Never came loose through all our snow storms. We are more than happy with this product.
