Question:	Is this mostly for kids? I was wanting to get a couple for my older sons
Answer:	It would be tight, especially if the man was above an average weight. I am a 5'4", petite female and fit in it perfectly. Were I any larger, I'd have been uncomfortable.

Answer:	Being polyester, it doesn't compress too much. I did buy 14L compression sack, and compressed it down to about 7L. It fits in my kids backpacks, and does take up a bit of space in the main compartment, but all they carry is their bag, their pad, flashlight and a few extra clothes. I carry the rest. And they do love the bags.

Answer:	Nope, you can use any size spindle with this. Basically you're giving the spindle it's own wall to push against, so the size won't matter any more than it would matter what size the wall is 😁

Answer:	I don’t fully understand the question. If you wanted it for a pile of some sorts I suppose it would work. It’s a very simple item. Has a rubber backing to grip but not mark the wall or surface. Is 4” and has a round recess to accommodate different brands of pressure style gates. I believe it had a hole through that you could put a screw through to secure the item for other uses or hold on wall. I personally didn’t because the pressure of gate held against wall with no sliding. I hope this helps.

Answer:	A small box. Maybe at four boxes of 50 rounds each box, but after that I wouldn’t. Go to a gun store and just buy an ammo box or a gun show we can get them for five bucks

Answer:	Even if you did secure it, a few hammer blows would knock it apart and cause the tiny assembly screws to strip until it came open at the seams. This is more about privacy than security and only from household members who aren't going to get medieval with it to get inside. I bought mine to ensure kids don't leave my kitchen tools and chef's knives out for my 100# dog to snatch off the counters and use as another chew toy - they just don't get putting stuff away when you use it, so they won't be using it.

Question:	Do you have to lock the box for it to be fire safe
Answer:	Hi there, thanks for your question. You do not need to lock the safe for it to be protected from fire damage. It has a 30-minute UL fire protection rating for up to 1550°F. The lock is for additional security. We hope this was helpful! -Kari
Question:	Is there a moisture/mold problem with these honeywell fire/water chests? i'm seeing a lot of complaints in the reviews
Answer:	We have been using one in Portland Oregon for about six months and have never had any problem with mold or mustiness in any safe we've used over the past 30 years. Today, I opened this safe for the first time in a few months, greeted by the smell of mildew. We do use a small dessicant packet inside, and the average humidity in our home hovers around 45%. We will need to arrange either a better dessicant or a different safe!
Question:	All 3 of the product specs have different sizes. Can someone tell me the exact outside dimensions by height, width, and depth including the lock
Answer:	From left to right when facing the lock and latches the width is exactly 12 3/8". From front to back, the depth is 9 7/8" for the box but including the silver lock cylinder which protrudes out the front add an extra 1/4" so a full 10 1/8". This does not include any space for inserting the key or opening the top of the box which needs additional space as the top swings up. The height of the box when closed is 7 1/4". Hope that helps. ie:(7 1/4" x 12 3/8" x 10 1/8")
Question:	Can letter-size papers (8.5x11 inch) be placed flat inside chest? Description does not show interior measurements
Answer:	Dear Valued Customers, in the Honeywell 1103 1/2 Hour UL Fire Safe Chest, an 8.5"W x 11"H Letter & A4 Sized Documents will fit in the interior laying flat. There are two smaller sizes of the chest: 1) the Honeywell 1101 1/2 Hour UL Fire Safe Chest for folded documents, and the 1102 Waterproof 1/2 Hour UL Fire Safe Chest for folded documents if you don't need documents to lie flat.

Question:	Does the track goes all the way on both ends to prevent file folders from falling out of the track? One of the buyer has this issue
Answer:	You might have locked it. Try your combination and unlock it. Then proceed to close the lid, turn the knob and mix the numbers.
Question:	Are the file holders removable
Answer:	Just a fraction smaller than the exterior dimensions. Front where the lock is takes a bit of space, perhaps 1/2 inch
Question:	Is the box 10.5" high or 10" high. Dimensions different in parts of description, but height is important to me
