Answer:	Avery makes a perminant adhesive label too that might work better but not well if you need to remove to relabel as time goes by. I find they do well on smooth plastics. I have a number of plastic drawers for paper supplies that hold paper reams per each and have lots of different categories of paper so it helps to keep them labeled. They have a place to stick a label but also a cardstock insert. I found the inserts would or could fall out some more than others. Then I started using these labels or the larger sized ones and they can be removed when needed to and they stick well to that smooth plastic spot. Also have the option of applying to new precut to size card stock if I want to say color code the labels such as black background for photo paper & grey for double sided photo, red for white cardstock, blue for regular printer paper, yellow for transparencies, and green for BRIGHTEST of white Card stock and neon green for Brightest white of regular paper and another shade of green for heavy weight ultra white printer paper 34 pound instead of the usual 24 pound we buy. So lots of options just think outside the box here. I actually switched to the slightly larger labels and use a bold crisp font to see quickly and clearly what I am reaching for. We print our basic return addresses on these a sheet or two at a time and use mainly to pay bills etc. They would work to write only one clear bold line if your font size is adjusted to fit and they would then work for a lot of cardstock file folders but I have not used on my plastic file folders which I use to separate my collection of greeting cards that are a hobby collection not to be sent out in a specific genre. Anyway hope this helps others looking I am aware the q/a was over 4 years ago. Stay safe and get organized everyone...why not we are kinda stuck at home these days. Though I can always find a reason to take off to the great outdoors living in rural MT right in the heart of the ROCKIES. Very few people up here and 78% is public land in our county. Answer:	They are paper with a foil coating. Not sure how they will hold up to the elements.
Question:	Oops, in a rush to buy I overlooked these are just for laser printers. Would they work for inkjet as well or should I return & get another kind
Answer:	We applied this label to an enamel painted surface that is exposed to an industrial environment. After about three months of operation, we inspected the equipment and the label was intact. That is, we noticed no degradation of the film or printed information. I cannot say how long this label will last after years but my guess is that it would definitely be sufficient for long term use. Question:	Are these perforated between labels? I need to be able to put a design on them & allow people to fill them in individually. Will that work
Answer:	They are individual labels, not perforated with little dots. They are 4 individual labels stuck to one sheet, the backing sheet would have to be cut if you wanted to separate them with the backing attached. They are great quality. I printed mine while they were on the sheet then cut them it worked great.
Question:	Does it work with laser printer
Answer:	Yes. Comes on sheets that can go through printer. My only caution on these is once you put them on something very hard to remove them, which is both a good and bad thing.
