is this the thin or thick version described on leather nomads site as .9mm or 2mm thick

Answer:

No it is not, the only down side to the bag is the stitching where the handle and straps come together. I had to take mine to a cobbler and have it stitched better cost me $20.00. I have the bag for 3 to 4 years and it has traveled thousand of miles with a oversize 17" pc in it and sometimes my clothes for the short trips. It looks good today and I would recommend it to others it has a worn vintage look.

Answer:	It a little thicker than the edge of a quarter quarter, roughly 1/16th of an inch.

Answer:	I rolled the pad the reverse direction of how I received it and placed it back in the shipping tube for about an hour. After pulling it out, curling was minimal, and the pad laid down flat after an hour. Good luck!

Answer:	You need the center drill to accurately set using a caliper. Using the cutter without the center drill to anchor the loose piece when it breaks free will result in the world coming to an end with best result being the destruction of the piece and the bit. If no hole can be tolerated, use piece with hole as a pattern, double stick tape to rough cut piece and use table mounted router with pattern following bit.
Question:	Dose it lay flat？Is the desk side sticky
Answer:	as long as all your fixtures and set screws are tight, then yes. also, I'm not sure how experienced you are at sharpening lathe cutters, but it might be worth it to dress up this cutter. Coolant just flys everywhere but if you wait for it to cool or you have compressed air between cutting holes should be good. either way it's going to scream and make a racket. don't let it ride and heat up, and don't press too hard or it could damage your press or you if it catches. sorry if you already knew all this. I cut out an aluminum gauge plate for my boat and it did pretty well. nice clean holes
Question:	Is this made of PU leather
Answer:	If you are wanting discs then the cutter blade has to have the flat side of the blade toward the inside of the cut.. Be sure you have measure across the length of the cut from edge to edge to be six inches. I just cut larger discs out of 1/4" acrylic and found that if you first allow the blade to rotate maround to just scratch the surface of the material you have between the drill press base and the material you are cutting. I use a piece of melanine ( a sorta laminated particle board) for to drill into. The scratched circle will give you the exact size of your circle you are cutting. (flat side of blade toward the inside to get a disc). That way you can measure the circle to the size you need before putting the piece on top to cut. Once you have found the right size. Take a felt tip pen and mark up next to the cutters body on the arm sticking out to give you a reference later on. The measurements on the arm isn't that accurate as well. Now for what I have found to improve the time to cut a disc. You will need to stop ever so often and cool the blade with water. Otherwise you will over heat the blade and if you over heat the blade too much you will dull the blade and it will never be as hard. Known as burning the carbon out of the blade. On acrylic I cut a little bit and cool the blade with a little water in a small container I keep close by. I rotate the blade around to the outside to widen the cutting groove to allow it to cut easier. I rotate the blade back around for my last cut with the blade (flat side on the inside) to make the final cut for a smooth straight edge on the disc. Another note. I screw my acrylic piece down to the base board's outside of the disc cutting area and that give me clamping area for my clamps to the Drill press table. Go slow and if you are doing Acrylic watch for the cutter to start making little melting bumps and then cool the blade and start back into your cut. You will be able to tell better as you continue on. If you're doing wood or anything else. They will get hot too and you will just need to watch what you are doing and keep the blade cool. I bought extra 1/4"x 1/4" keystock from McMaster-Carr.com part # 98535A150 and made my own cutters a 12" length is only $3.23 and will make 3 4" cutters easy and harder steel. You will have to grind them to shape of the original if you have a grinder of belt sander upside down to grind the shape. Oh and another thing. If you want to make your disc without a hole in the center. Just remove the drill bit in the middle. Take the set screw all the way out or it could come flying out of it's hole. Answer:	The main ingredient is chicken and it's made in the USA. According to the label it states Tennessee. I give my dogs a couple different Nutro blends. This one is a basic chicken and rice meal so if they have any issues with either loose stools or vomiting, I only give them this one until it clears up. I have a 15 y/o toy Chihuahua and all she eats is the Nutro loaf formulas and an 8 y/o Papillon that I feed the Nutro dry weight control formula. I hope this answers your question.

Answer:	you could cut it, but the edge is finished with a single stitch which would be difficult to reproduce on the new edge.

Question:	Is this reversible or is it just that the bottom is a different color
Answer:	My mat came rolled up in a Cylindrical fashion. Once I unrolled it and placed it down on my desk they were absolutely no creases or wrinkles. If you cannot remove the creases or wrinkles I would recommend returning. Mine has worked fantastic since I have had it but again I have not had to deal with any type of wrangling or Creases.

Question:	Is this true leather? I just received and it looks and feels like a hard plastcky leatherette. Does not at all smell like leather
Answer:	I've had the pad for a few months and had no marking on pad after writing on one piece of paper with ball point pens. I press firmly and have had no markings.

Answer:	It depends on how large an object you place on its surface. In my opinion, this leather desk pad should have enough space on its surface for a person to use a mouse with a desktop or laptop on the pad as well.

Answer:	Yes, and it is rather thick, also. You might dent the leather if you write hard, but you certainly won't dent the wood. I haven't even dented the leather!
Question:	Is surface hard enough to protect wood surface from damage from ballpoint pen
Answer:	It smelled for 20 seconds while being removed from the package. It is certainly NOT (animal) leather. It smells like plastic/pleather. I have had it for two days. I have a very sensitive nose. Sitting at the desk I cannot smell it. If I put my face on the desk, I can smell faint plasticky smell. Hope that helps.
