Answer:	I'm not certain which smaller one you are referring to, as this larger notebook may have more pages than the smaller one, or just contains more material overall, warranting a higher price. This is the lowest price I found on this notebook, and the organizing tabs included make it possible to be really organized.

Answer:	It does have lines, although another BlueLine product may not have lines. The paper is of high quality, the notebook opens in such a way that it is easy to take notes, use as a journal, and the pages can easily tear out as they are perforated. The notebooks are extremely well constructed.

Answer:	It is lined on both sides. Never counted the pages. I love these books...spiral bound so they lay flat and fit my briefcase. Take a chance and buy it.
