Answer:	Safety and archival are slightly different things. It is likely not archival ink as it is intended for everyday use and archival ink is actually a stain that will clog a tip relatively rapidly so it is not recommended for everyday use. Up to the 1980's archival ink was still used straight from the bottle and with a quill. Today, you can obtain archival ink from craft stores in a pen form but the tip may still require cleaning periodically to ensure even flow of the stain.

Answer:	Hi! Thanks for the question. After 6 months of use you would purchase a new one to continue using the daily pages. The decision for us was how to have enough writing space on the daily pages (so when we use it you can actually write what you need and want to) so you can organize your day, but also not make the book 2-3 inches thick (and also too heavy). So we specifically decided to put 26 weeks worth of daily use. But the planner has the full yearly calendar so you can pick up and start using the planner at any month of the year. Hope that helps!
