| Answer: | No! They are clear, but not uniform. For the box I bought (with the reply above as advice), I can hold it over my face and walk around...then I get dizzy. There is enough distortion to give you a headache or make you nauseous pretty quickly! |

| Answer: | Abolutely. These combs are entirely separate from the pages. First, holes are punched in the pages. Then the spine is attached with the each comb going through a hole. You can open a book and bend it all the way back so only one page is showing. Easy to scan one page at a time if desired. Will lie flat on the scanning bed. |

1. The cutting blade of this machine is oiled to avoid rusting during transportation and storage. Punch the oil removing paper in the package to clean the blades in the first use

The larger combs are not included in the sample packet sent with binding machine, only small comb samples are sent with it. |
