User questions & answers
Question: | Are there backing boards that fit the 10" x 13" sleeves? Thanks |
Answer: | These are made from polypropylene, which does not block UV rays. Polypropylene is susceptible to UV degradation when exposed to long-term, high-intensity UV light. |
Question: | Hi, can you trim the cover down to fit a smaller book? Thanks |
Answer: | Hello. To answer your question in 2 options. Option 01, Can WE have these custom made with a logo, yes, depending on the MOQ. We can have custom pattern and logo designed into the product. Option 02, Can you have this made with a custom logo. Yes, screen printers should be able to add a logo to this. You would have to discuss with them imprint size and area. |
Question: | Will this fit hardcover books 9" x 12 1/4" by 1/2" thick ? or is there one that will fit snug |
Answer: | It has been too long ago to remember if it was a fossil or plain vanilla box. I would not be surprised for it to be a very nice, above the usual box, given fossil’s high quality products. Call a high quality men’s store and see what they say. Cheers. |
Question: | Do these bags block uv rays? do they degrade under constant exposure to uv rays |
Answer: | Yes, the Men's RFID Blocking Ingram Bifold wallet has the Fossil brand symbol of a diamond with its name in it embossed on it. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are the bags resealable |
Answer: | Yes, it fits nicely into the book bag. I tried it with a book exactly 9” x12 1/4” by 1/2” thick and the flap tucks in also. There’s a little ease on both sides so it’s not snug. This is the smallest bag I have so I can’t compare one for a snug fit. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will these fit old ‘60s and ‘70s Star Trek novels |
Answer: | Yes they will. I bought them for books from 60s-80s and everyone has fit. They are good bags |
Question: | I like the bags. Are there any similar products that will accommodate thicker books without going all the way up to magazine or comic size |
Answer: | After paperback size, digest is the next size up. |
Question: | Would One Punch Man manga fit in this |
Answer: | I'm not sure. This is what I use these bags for- standard paperback sized books (not thick ones) Most manga I have fit into the "Digest" sized bags or the smaller "current" comics size depending on thickness. I suggest you measure all 3 dimensions of book and compare to the many bags available.sasha neetstuff.com |
Question: | Would this work perfectly for one piece manga |
Answer: | not at all. I had to return mine. it works for manga... from Japan (they are thinner/smaller) Don't even bother with US publisher's manga.I have manga from Viz, DMP, Vertical, Kodansha and others... didn't fit any of those. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the "1-pack" include 4 packs - consisting of 200 boards total and 200 bags total? Much cheaper than anywhere else so wasn't sure |
Answer: | No, Resealable Bags would be advertised as resealable. Both types are sold. |
Question: | Will these bags hold 'Warren' comics such as 'creepy and vampirella |
Answer: | Exterior Dimensions: 6 7/8 x 10 1/2 |
Question: | Is this actually 200 each of both bags and boards |
Answer: | Yes, this listing is for 200 bags + 200 boards. So if you order a quantity of 1, you'll be able to bag & board 200 comic books. |
Question: | Are the bags resealable |
Answer: | From the manufacturer's website: "BCW boards have been buffered with calcium carbonate which neutralizes the acid that migrates from the comic. The coated side may be on one or both sides of the backing board. You can identify the coated side by the glossy finish of the board. When you insert your comic and board inside the bag, you’ll want the coated side of the board facing the comic." |
Question: | What is size of bag? Am looking for 6 7/8 x 10 1/2 inch |
Answer: | There is no adhesive on the bags, it's just a flap. You can either tuck it into the sleeve around the comic and board or use a piece of scotch tape to seal it (this is what we do) |
Question: | Is this for 200 bags and 200 backer boards |
Answer: | Sorry, none that size right now. The closest is Sheet Music boards, which are a bit smaller. |
Question: | Is the coated side of the boards supposed to go against the comic books or away from them? What happens if you store them the wrong way by mistake |
Answer: | Hello, Sorry, the bags can't be trimmed without ruining them. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I put 2 comics in these or should I get silver age |
Answer: | The bags and boards do not come preloaded, you have to put them together yourself. With this size bag and board you will not be able to fit 2 comics in it. It is already a tight fit for the modern day size comic. |
Question: | The picture shows both the thick and the regular size comic bag packs. Which do you get when you order this |
Answer: | These will definitely NOT fit a comic book with 150 pages. They struggle to fit some of the 60ish page books I have. They are designed for standard size modern books (25ish pages including ads) and while they will fit bigger issues, I wouldn't try anything over 80 pages in them. |
Question: | Do these have resealable glue on the back |
Answer: | No they are not resealable but you can seal them with tape or something similar. |
Question: | Do these Come put apreloaded it and can I use both sides question mark |
Answer: | Yes it does. It comes with 2 packs of boards at 100 each and 2 packs of bags at 100 each as well. The bags and boards are a little bit bigger than your standard comics. I have bought some that are almost the exact size of my comics and make it a tight fit to get them in. |
Question: | I just started getting into comic books and am in the market to keep my comics safe. Will these fit 150+ page comic books |
Answer: | I'm really sorry, but I don't have any of those comics, I can tell you that there's almost 1/2 inch of play with current comics in them, honestly a little bit more than I wanted for my current comics but after reading some of the reviews on the current sized bags they were saying that they were to tight and bending there books. The bags I received are 7 1/4 x 10 1/2 I don't see a way to send a picture but hopefully this will help you! Stay Safe! |
Question: | Are these resealable |
Answer: | Yes, you get 200 RESEALABLE Regular/Silver Thick Comic Bags & 200 Backer Boards. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Hi, what would you recomend for double issue comic books for storage bags, 80's, early |
Answer: | You'll probably want to get the other sizes, as these are made to fit modern age comics, and it's a close fit as it is. I know older comics were typically larger and BCW does make bags and boards for Golden and Silver age comics. |
Question: | Is the printing on the boards? Or are they plain |
Answer: | You can, but I would not recommend it. The ink and the comics will stick together and you could damage the comics you put in the bag. Silver age bags should be used for the Silver Age of Comics or if your current bags are too small for a bag. IE Tales From the Crypt Reprint from the 1990's #1 I put in silver age bags because it would not fit in a current size bag. I recommend 1 comic, 1 backing board inside a bag. The shiny side is acid free on your backing board, so use that. The other side will make the comic deprecaite in value. You're good for the comics to be in the bag for 5 years before you will need to change them out. Hope this helps. |
Question: | Are the bags resealable |
Answer: | The Resealable current bags, not the thick resealable current bags. |
Question: | I have some older comics (1977 -ish) will these bags fit without causing any damage |
Answer: | It has a peel and stick resealable strip on the bags. |

Answer: | There is 100 reasonable bags. There is not 500 of anything. I don't know what they mean in the features, but the bags are great. |
Question: | Do graphic novels fit |
Answer: | Older comics will not fit in these bags. don't bother trying unless you are trying to damage them |
Question: | I have some graphic novels i would like to put in bags. What kind would i need |
Answer: | The boards are plain white. |
Question: | Why does it say 100 sleeves under description and 500 under features |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are these acid free |
Answer: | The boards in total composition are acid free at time of manufacture, but they don't remain that way over time as the core of the board is acidic. The boards have a coating on one side (the smooth side) that acts as a buffer / alkaline reserve. This side should be the only side that touches anything. The rough side is acidic. When used as a comic book backer the buffer deteriorates over time due to the acidity of the comic book as well as the board itself. This happens within 3-5 years depending on environmental conditions and necessitates replacement of the board. The vendor will even admit to this fact. |
Question: | Fabric stashers: Can these be cut in half with a rotary cutter to use with smaller cuts of fabric |
Answer: | I do not use my rotary cutter on anything but fabric. That being said, I have been able to cut the cardboard with a straight edge paper cutter that I purchased for scrapbooking. |
Question: | is this the cardboard you get in comic bags |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | One side is glossy, the other is matte. Does it matter what side I put against the comic |
Answer: | Yes!!!Where I bought many comics at a comic book store the guy working in there told me to lay the board down where the glossy side is facing up and put the comic book on this side. The rough matte side should never touch the comic book!!!Also if I was you I would get the current comic book bags that comes in a 100 count pack. This is for the average comic collector that does not have any valuable comic books. If you have expensive ones that you really want to protect the best you have to buy the much more expensive comic book bags. You can find all these on Amazon. They are much cheaper on these than any of the comic book shops I know.I like to keep my comic books in a special comic book box that Amazon sells. It holds around 250 comic books depending on the size.I keep my comics in a dark place my closet.I used to keep some in the basement but it was humid and ruined them!!!I hope you enjoy collecting comic books.I hope this has helped you!!!! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do the boards come in the bags, or is the customer required to put them in |
Answer: | It depends on the type and thickness. Most of my marvel and DC trades (paperback only) fit nicely in these thick current bags. I'm not sure if you can include a backboard since I never bother for TPBs. If you are looking for bags for manga graphic novels, you can get specialized sizes, but I use these thick current sized bags for those too. They fit 3 volumes of most manga per bag really well. |
