Question:	Do these combs allow you to fold the cover behind/under so there is only one page open, rather than both sides of the book
Answer:	Abolutely. These combs are entirely separate from the pages. First, holes are punched in the pages. Then the spine is attached with the each comb going through a hole. You can open a book and bend it all the way back so only one page is showing. Easy to scan one page at a time if desired. Will lie flat on the scanning bed.
Question:	What can I do to keep the pages from slipping off the combs
Answer:	That usually means you need a larger size comb for the number of pages or the weight of the paper you are using.
Question:	how many pages of card stock will these combs hold
Answer:	Not sure of an answer, it would depend on the size of the comb, I find it is always better to allow plenty of leeway with the combs and not to force more pages into the comb as one day you may need to open the comb to extract or add a few pages. it is always a matter of trial and error. Answer:	As long as they look like this one. I have several sizes from 1/2 inch to 2" inches. They have to be able to fit in the binding machine. And I also would say they have to be plastic. I think if you stick with this Brand, you should not have any problems fitting you machine.

Question:	Can I use a spiral comb and a double wire comb as well
Answer:	I use the plastic comb with this machine. I have never tried a double wire comb so I don't know if it will work. A spiral binding cone will not work.

Answer:	No - The largest you can bind is A4 which is about 12" wide.
Question:	If I needed to change a page in the middle of the already bound booklet - would it be easy to do
Answer:	It is possible. I thought this was a good question so I went to "unbind" a booklet and then rebind it. You can place the booklet behind the tines (in a position where the rings open toward you) and then open and close the rings. After they close, remove the booklet. It is easy to pull the back binding comb off. Then you can fix the pages and rebind in the usual way. It may be possible just to pull the comb off the booklet, without the first step, but the comb came off the pages easily after they were flexed back and forth.
Question:	can i punch 11" x 17" paper
Answer:	You can punch the 11" side. The 17" will not enter machine. However if you fold 17 to 8.5 the you can punch as a folded piece. Set your edge control and punch using fold side for guide. When you open it you have a 17" punched sheet. Lots of luck and patience. ShellyA

Answer:	This is comb not spiral. For comb binding you would a 1.5" size which would hold up to 290 pages of standard paper. If you do want spiral plastic coil then you would need 28mm (1 1/8")

Answer:	I wouldn't recommenced allowing this to be chewed on. As a whole it is too large to be a choking hazard, but if pieces were broken off they could be.

Answer:	No! They are clear, but not uniform. For the box I bought (with the reply above as advice), I can hold it over my face and walk around...then I get dizzy. There is enough distortion to give you a headache or make you nauseous pretty quickly!
Question:	is this a front cover only? does it have a back cover is it clear as well
Answer:	When I used this product I printed the front and back cover pages on card stocks, Then used the clear cover over both to protect them for longer wear and look more professional.
Question:	Are these the stiff ones or the flimsier ones? (Like lbs, i.e. cardstock stiffness) THanks
Answer:	My handy wire gauge says they are .009" thick, which is about the same as my 110lb card stock.These are the only covers I've every bought so I don't know if they are flimsier or not. I like them though they are quite a bit stiffer then 20lb paper.
Question:	Are the corners rounded or square
Answer:	Only if it says so. If it does not say so, then you need to find the rounded corner package. Please also ensure that you order the "Oversize" if you want the best finish, since the rounded corners version would not completely cover the front page fully! This is tricky, and you may get different answers depending on what/how you order. Do it exactly!!!!
