Answer:	1. Make sure batteries are good. If another door alarm works take those batteries and put them in the other. If it still doesn’t sound when you flick the switch to on the unit needs to be returned. 2. Answer:	Since sliding doors design vary based upon manufacturer it's hard to accurately answer this request. However, if you can adhere both items of this product side by side - one being stationary, the other being the movable piece, then it will work just fine. In other words, when the sliding door is in the closed position, you must be able to install this product in such a way that when the door is opened, the two pieces "break contact" with one another thereby sounding the very loud and high-pitched alarm. Answer:	There is just a switch. The item that looks like a big button on the front is not a button. I believe it is just the speaker. The switch is a standard sliding switch. If children could reach it, they could turn it off, depending on their age and the location of the alarm. On doors, these are usually mounted at the top of the door, well out of reach of children in normal circumstances. The alarms are also pretty small (about 2.5 inches long), so they don't attract much attention.

Answer:	It has different sensitive levels. If the cat got on top of it, it might trigger it.

Answer:	Not sure. I use mine beneath the doors. The door stop alarm needs leverage beneath the door which will provide the needed resistance to activate the alarm which a single panel door provides comfortably. If the sliding door provides that kind of leverage then yes. However I don't think they do. But if one can secure enough resistance for a forced entry then the door stop alarm should be placed in the most likely spot where the resistance can occur to set off the alarm. Sometimes you would need to create that resistance by using another device to assist.

Answer:	We just received ours March 2018, and it works great on our linoleum floor, doesn't slide at all, and the floor is a very slick smooth surface, no texture on the floor at all. The door stop has a textured rubber pad on the bottom which does a lot to help it not slip. I tried it on our door several times and worked great everytime! Going to order one for my daughter who lives by herself, hopefully she'll use it!!

Question:	Can a remote be programmed to work simultaneously on multiple machines
Answer:	Yes. I purchased 4 of these for use on all exterior doors. Each device/machine can be connected to 8 remotes (per instructions on box). I have 2 remotes (one upstairs and one downstairs) that control all 4 Alarms.
Question:	How far away can the remote be to activate or deactivate the alarm? I wonder if it will reach through floor frm downstair to room directly upstairs
Answer:	Shouldn't be a problem, I live in a Red-Brick house w/ SOLID METAL doors, and I can set it (on), Dis-arm (turn off), and sound-off (panic mode) from outside the house, almost a half of a block away. So you really should not have a problem at all. Hope that information helps ! :)
Question:	How loud is the alarm
Answer:	It is unbearably LOUD!!!!!! It hurts my ears when the alarm goes off and the doorbell is way too loud for an apartment. Probably perfect for a house but stupid loud for an apartment 😄
Question:	Can you disarm it from outside the door
Answer:	It has a decent range. I would guess you could disarm it from 50'+. I do not think a standard wooden or metal door would be an obstruction.

There is double-sided adhesive on the Alarm and Magnet box, just peel and stick to doors.

1. The 2 parts need be aligned by their alignment arrow.

How it works

• When in arm mode, if detected doors or windows are opened, the alarm will recurrently alarm 30 seconds and stop 15 seconds until doors or window are closed or disarm by the remote.
• When in disarm mode, the alarm has no function except for panic and low battery indicate.
• When in doorbell mode, if doors or windows are opened, the alarm will sound "dingdong" to remind you.

How to use your remote?

1. Arm Mode: When you press arm button, the alarm will sound "Bi Bi Bi". And 15 seconds later it will sound "Bi" to indicate that the alarm is in arm mode.
2. Disarm Mode: When you press disarm button once, the arm will sound a long "Bi..." to indicate that the alarm is in disarm mode.
3. Panic Mode: (for emergencies) When you press panic button, the alarm will alarm 30 seconds immediately. It is effective in any mode.
4. Doorbell Mode: When you change the alarm to disarm mode and press doorbell button, it will sound "dingdong" to indicate that the alarm is in doorbell mode.

How to pair alarms with your remote?

Question:	What if the power goes out
Answer:	No, they are not battery-operated!! If the power goes out, the alarm will not work. Originally, we planned to design a built-in battery to prevent it from not working after power failure, but because the alarm needs to be plugged in with a strong current (100v-240v), if the built-in battery is used, the design requirements will be very high, and the battery explosion or fire must be avoided, so we canceled the built-in battery. It's a tough choice, isn't it?
Question:	Does this show a history of when the doors are openy
Answer:	Yes! Have to be connected to the wifi.
Question:	Can the sensors be set up individually? As in, can the schedules for different sensors be controlled or disabled individually
Answer:	Yes, you go to accessories and choose how to set them up
Question:	Do these sensors have an audible chime when a door is opened, even if the alarm isn't on
Answer:	No, these sensors themselves don't have an audible chime when they are opened or closed, even if the alarm is or not on. Only when the host is powered on, the door and window sensors are triggered, the host will ring, and the host must be connected to the network, your mobile phone will receive the alarm message push.

Answer:	Wish I knew. My door jambs are too high so door slides right over alarm without setting them off.
Question:	Will this work on hotel doors
Answer:	Any door that opens in it will work on. Scares away intruder with screaching siren. 9v battery. With a foot behind it u may be able to fend off home invasion type situation or domestic long enough for help to arrive. Other devices of course is available. These are VG and I highly recommend!!
Question:	As soon as i turn it on it start beeping, no directions how does it work
Answer:	Be sure to no hold or press the silver part of it, as this is where the alarm sensor is located. If by any reason it starts beeping, try turning it off again and if this doesn’t work, it’s possible that it might be defected. Turn it off and try removing the battery and insert it again while it’s still off and before turning it back on, be sure not to make any contact with the silver part. I hope this helps.
Question:	Does this work on Carpet
Answer:	I would think it works better on carpet because my floor has tile and when the doors opens the stopper alarm goes off and loud even when it's set to low volume. It the stopper is put under the door snug enough then there is no way you want hear the alarm when the door is open.
