Answer:	I bought the Peir one cushion first. It’s horrible. It barely covers the frame so when you get in the chair the cushion doesn’t support the area behind your knees. The 4” depth is so thin that you can feel the frame under your butt. I kept their frame, returned their cushion and replaced it with the blazing needle microfiber 54” wide and truly 6” deep. This size covers the entire frame and you don’t feel the frame on your bum.

Answer:	It arrives rolled, but just barely. Careful cutting the binding as it will spring open at once. Probably couldn't be rolled easily by something not a machine--very sturdy and durable. Does not curl up on the floor--once it's open, it's open for good.
Question:	Floortek, what do you think about using on top of asphalt so our pallet jack will roll better over the asphalt? I know the warranty would not apply
Answer:	You can cut the mat to fit any configuration you want. I bought 3 of these mats and cut them all to fit in around door jams and to a finished contour shape that covers a much larger area than I could find a single mat to cover. I used an oscillating multi tool with a fine blade, but a jig saw with a fine tooth blade, or a skill saw/ table saw etc will work too. You will most likely have to deburr the edges when you're done as it will raise a burr no matter what you cut it with. I wish I could send a picture with my answer.

Question:	The one that has a lip, is said to be 47 x 35. Does that measurement INCLUDE the lip
Answer:	While it is difficult to cut, I have cut this to go around the contour of a room. Never had any cracks. I used a Dremel tool with a blade made for plastics. Had a 200#+ cart sitting about 1 inch from one of the cuts and the cut did not even try to migrate. (Mat had been placed on thin carpet.) I held it in may hands to cut it. It did curl and buckle while I held it, but that was all. You will probably come close to breaking your hand if you use tin snips, a hacksaw. etc. Might be able to use a hot tool like a 'hot knife' (tool that the blade heats up). Like I said, Dremel with a plastic blade worked great, but it takes time!

Answer:	Can you be more specific? I'm a little confused. Do you mean- where is it shipped from? Like city and state? Or distribution center? If so, it was so long ago I don't recall. But if it helps any, I live down the street from an Amazon distribution center in California, and it didn't come from there, nor would they let me pick it up if it did. So, I still had to pay for shipping. :/Btw, my mat is still like new! I should have bought this mat a long time ago instead of attempting to go the cheaper route (Wal-Mart).
Question:	Does the 47 x 35 include the lip or is that just the main rectangle of the mat? What is the dimensions of the lip
Answer:	The only difference that I can see is the 427lr says it has a thicker polycarbonate and it weighs 10.1 pounds vs. 6.1 pounds for the 423lr. I have the thicker material on two mats and they work great. They are on carpet, but it feels like being on a floor, very solid. I do not think that they will ever wear out. Since I use them every day it was worth the extra cost.

Answer:	Yes, without the tounge the size is 37x35 too small to be usefull. Chair rolls off to easily.

Answer:	The back of the mat has extruded spikes (~1/8 inch) made of the polycarb material that somewhat grip the carpet. These could scratch a wood floor.(depending on where you are placing your mat, you could just place some old carpet or even a folded towel under the floor section to prevent any scratching. it will also help to level out the transition between the floor and carpet.)
Question:	Can it be cut, i.e. trimmed with a box cutter to fit a space more closely
Answer:	It is 47 x 35 and can be installed in either direction. And you can buy these in different sizes. I have on that is 47 x 47. Have used it for almost a year and is still in great shape.
Question:	Does it slip on waxed, hardwook (oak) parquet flooring
Answer:	There is no lip, but the thickness, best guess using a ruler, is about 1/32 of an inch. It is very solid and yet has some flexibility. I would never try to roll this up into a tube shape, but it has some give. I have had this product for several months and it has worked perfectly. It is on med carpet and I weigh 160-170 lbs, and this product has protected the carpet and it shows no sign of use. I am very happy with this product.

Answer:	I love the durability, but it do tend to move due to the short studs. My carpet pile is 3/8" long.

Answer:	I first purchased the medium pile mat and the chair wheels sunk into the mat making rolling very hard. I returned that mat and purchased the Polycarbonate for pile over 1/2". It is harder and the wheels roll easily. I am very satisfied.

Answer:	Haven't tried to, but, yeah, expect you can. It's polycarbonate, which is basically the same stuff they make plastic motorcycle helmets out of. If I were going to try to cut it, I'd use a very fine tooth blade, though.

what is the thickness of this mat

Answer:

It slips a bit on our floors, but they are freshly refinished, so I put some grip strips under the corners and that helps.. You should also be careful and make sure you are putting the right side down.. The smooth side goes toward the floor, the pebbled side goes up.. If you put the pebbled side down, it slides like crazy.. There is a sticker on it showing which side to face up, and it slides much less when used properly.

Answer:	Mine shipped as rolled/tossed in box about 3 months ago. It took a number of days to flatten and still corners aren't perfect. I suggest getting one of these at your local store that is flat it may cost a little more, but you will be happier. This was probably my most disappointing purchases I've made on Amazon.
