What I do not know is how they will grab when the wheel arm rotates in its off-set. The wheel might grab and pull the carpet. They are marketed specifically for hard floors and that is why I bought them, so unless someone can answer that has specific experience with them I would stick to the standard office chair wheel.

Answer:	My seats are 19x19x4 inches with a wooden bottom that bolts to the chair frame. I unbolted the seat to put this cover on. The cover has four ties, one sewn to each side. The cover can be pulled and cross tied with just a bit of material on the bottom so that when I bolted the seat back on the chair the cover edge was totally hidden.

Answer:	I would not recommend them for any type of flooring, they ruined 3 planks of my new Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) right after I installed them.

Answer:	There are basically 2 covers 1/2 " wide on the CB680 as the casters are themselves two wheels with a space in the middle. I don't know about another wheel quality. This is the only one I have purchased and I have purchased probably a hundred. We use them as replacements for our chairs that roll on hard surfaces in a hospital. They save the floors, they work very well, and that saves us a lot of money. A VCT floor will last about a year with the regular wheels on the chairs. So far these have extended that time to 3 years and counting.

Answer:	Hi Christopher J. Dorris Seddox casters have a 7/16'' (11mm) stem diameter. They fit for 95% office chair. But they don't fit for IKEA chairs, which have 10mm stem size. So please check stem diameter of your chair before buying

Answer:	Not on Bamboo, but on hand scrapped oak. They don't leave any kind of marks on wood floors and roll very easily and quietly. Because they roll so easy I suggest you check to make sure your floor is level or you may find yourself slowly rolling downhill.

Answer:	Sorry but I can’t answer that question. The stool is in the NC mountains and I am Iceland. But it is a wide stool that is about as wide as the swivel rocker that it sits with. Good luck.

Answer:	Yes it requires assembly. The ends need to be attached so not much work. But, we left ours out on a covered deck last winter. They are not weather prof.
