Answer:	I don’t know about the dish app but I have never had any problem with any app downloaded in this box and you can use your hdmi cable for sure :)

Answer:	It's up to you if you want to take a chance one, but from my experience when watching streaming my fav shows, audio and video was out of sync, but I found no way to correct it. For these reasons, I chose to purchase a brand new box instead of a supposedly "like new" one that performs like it's been heavily used.

Answer:	Hi, it does not really get in the way unless you like to prop your feet up on an ottoman or something. The piece does not seem necessary to install, I believe it's there to hide wires. I'm 6' if that helps.

Answer:	I would say no to that. I use mine for an ottoman. The cover is too long for a good fit, but it does the job. It would not work well on a round table.
