Answer:	Weight capacity is 250 lbs., as described on the manufacturer's site. I'm 220 and have owned this chair since 2011. It is extremely rugged and durable, as well as being very comfortable. So go for it, you'll love it!!!

Answer:	I just measured and the seat adjusts 24" to 28" high from the floor and the arms adjust 8" to 11" above the seat cushion.

So, I went and measured the chair and what I found it that the widest part which includes the arms of the chair is 25.5". I measured the ring and the seat cushion itself and there is no part other than the arms that exceeds 25". The arms are optional can be left off when you are assembling the chair if you choose to.
